At 5:29 if you install a steering damper kit it will significantly reduce the scary wobble at high speeds.
I rode a 40 mph scooter in Paris. And I was at 40mph for 8 minutes it was awesome, btw thats a different brand there is one called the zero10x

I have the exact same scooter, I wiped out a few months ago, still not 100%!! I broke my right collarbone, my left wrist and arm, and crushed my left ankle!! Everything is healed, except the ankle, it is taking way longer then it should, i think i have some tendon damage, I have an appointment to see another surgeon in a couple weeks!! I was wearing a full-faced motor-cycle helmet, had I not been wearing a helmet, id DEFINITELY be dead, I smashed my head hard enough to break the helmet, but i dont have any damage in my head area, except for i cant hear out of my left ear anymore, but I will bring that up with the surgeon as well. If ur going out riding, wear protective gear man, these things are no joke, I have had mine going 69 km/h! And my front tire started wobbling, i slowed down quick enough to catch it, thank God! When i wiped out a few months ago, i was only going about 30 km/h. I put the scooter in to eco mode, when i was going about 30-35 kmh, not knowing that it would almost instantly stop me to like 26 kmh, and i wasnt ready for it, and went over the handle bars. I had no idea it would do that, I wish someone had told me, dont test it, it will slow u right down, and it's almost impossible to stop urself from flying over the handle bars. Stay safe, and wear protective gear!!

@@Crazyd2050 Thanks man, I was going to just cut the wire to make sure i didnt do it again, I dont use eco mode anyway, but there is only 1 wire going in to the housing, and it had my dual motor switch in there too, so i cant cut that wire! lol. Id be pissed if i lost a motor. And just about 100% healed now, i just stopped limping this week, im sure its still a little noticeable, but a lot better, can't believe how long i was laid up! Gettin old man!! lol. Thanks for the reply.

And then this summer, lol, i went out scooting again, I was going around a corner, and I wasn't going fast, but I had a book bag on with a bunch of heavy stuff in it, and when i went around the corner, i went down again, lol, I broke my left arm again. I was happy i didnt mess up my legs this time! I just got the cast off like 2 weeeks ago, the cast went around my elbow, and half way up my bicep, was a long one. I think im selling the scooter!! lol, there's nothing wrong with it, from the accidents, I paid $3,000 for it, with a ton of accessories, like seat, extra charger a bunch of stuff. I think im going to buy an electric bike. I dont feel comfortable riding the scooter anymore, especially with the 10 inch tires. Im so glad i was smart enough to wear a helmet both times!! I might be dead now, if I hadn't wore one, especially the first accident. Thanks for the concern man, ride safely Bro.

I have the Apollo Ghost and it’s equivalent to this! Hella fun. But you know I have the Sur Ron also.
Ride it like a skateboard, change the stance. That will give you the most control and stability.
Unless I’m misinterpreted your comment, you should not ride an electric scooter sideways like a skateboard. That forces your body to turn and limits your vision on one side. Staggered feet with one in front of the other gives you most control over your weight distribution and is considered to be the best scooter riding stance.

I just received my new Eagle One and was upset to find there is a detent in the steering that causes the front wheel to pop into a straight ahead attitude. This is very annoying when trying to navigate at slow speeds because it keeps popping into this detent. Is this a standard feature why have I not seen one person mention it in any of the dozens of videos on this scooter? Also, is there anyway to disable it?

@@jadenwarren1847 Then it's probably a great idea if nothings broken & you get it cheaper. Batterys last for a while. Usually the capacity doesn't drop before a few hundred charges.
i got this around 2 weeks ago, within the first hour i was testing top speed and i was going about 35-36 and slammed the front brakes because it was so fast and i got scared, i flew over the handle bars and i was only wearing a bike helmet and it broke the helmet bent the brake discs and my face slid for a while on the asphalt, knocked my front teeth loose and probably gonna loose one, but it was worth it because it taught me a lesson of not to be stupid with these things. after a week of basically speed healing somehow, only my side got a big scar and i bought a motorcycle helmet and when i was able to put it on without it hurting my face i went and only stayed in mode 1 and slowly got better at controlling it, and now i finnaly hit 40 mph on a downhill but i didnt crash and it got so controllable. Dont go super fast on a road you dont know with these things without proper protection.
i now have around 130 miles on it so if you do crash just get back on (once your ok) and just keep riding
Pulling front brake hard is a Big no no especially if they can lock the wheel easily

when riding Escooters and Eboards ....use wider stance ...foot position ...avoid feet together coz you cant bail like that ......the stance you want is a wide Karate stance with 70% weight on front foot pointing forward .........................You stance and foot position is thing that changes how it rides and feels quite a lot ......Have another go try wider stance your feel much more stable

Hey man, I recently purchased one of these, I have been using it to commute to work (8 miles in total 5 days per week) and little errands around town. I've had it since the first week of August 2021 about 340 miles in and I've had two flat tires so far. I recommend ordering inner tubes straight away when you purchase as they will be needed.
Beware, this is basically a VERY small company doing drop shipping with a small staff of people. Customer service is a bit of a drag as it takes forever to get anything delivered, ordered tubes on 25 august, got a message on shop app that they are out for delivery today...finally. Hefty $40 price tags on two tubes as well.
I would suggest ordering your parts from Rev Rides, they are much better at expediting orders and customer service. They sell the Zero 10X which is basically the same scooter as the Eagle One with different branding( all parts are interchangeable across both scooters)
So far the scooter has been worth the price tag in my opinion. It was fairly easy to watch a few videos and change the tires with little to no stress (upgraded tires when I replaced tubes) I ride on sidewalks a lot so there is a lot of shock put on the scooter when crossing breaks in the sidewalk pavement. I has taken every bump like a champ and seems to be holding up well. Haven't had a single mechanical issue yet.
Overall it works as advertised as far as I can tell. We'll see what the future holds as I head into month 3 of owning this beast.
Also, This scooter isn't technically designed for off roading as advertise and I feel like the more care you take in riding it the longer the lifespan will be, a lot of people attempt to ride these things like dirt bikes because they see the ads of guys jumping things and off-roading, while it can handle some light off pavement riding, it simply isn't designed in a way to avoid damaging major components(brakes particularly). Responsible riding rewards you will longevity and a lot of fun.
There is a bit of noise that can come from the stem at the clamp, Rev Rides also sells a more robust heavy duty clamp that I recommend purchasing as well, it eliminates all of the noise and is a lot more stable.

To properly ride the scooter and not burn out the controllers turn the key power on the led display and when turning it off power off the display and turn the key to off while riding do not put ur feet next to one another if ur right handed put ut right foot forward and left foot on the raised position on the board the back foot rest the back shock is conected to it look for some videos how to ride ur scooter and lean back down when breaking because then u have lower center of gravity and u will not fly over the handlebars when breaking
