    Great match. Also contrary to other posters i think Ken Shuman did a great job commentating, good calls and very knowledgeable of the sport. Overall probably one of the best pool videos i've seen on youtube

      Agree, I think Ken is an excellent announcer and is very good for pool.

    Never seen the kid playing Shane before, but he's really good. These guys played as close as you can get to perfect pool.

      good eye man. i did not even notice. the shot was still a foul since he scratched though.

      Very good eye.....the ball moved so little you could hardly see it but it was a good hit. I can understand why Ken said he didn't hit the ball because that's exactly what I thought the first time. Great catch on that!

    The match was exceptionally professional. I believe Skyler could have avoided the fist mistake by kicking off the short rail near the first diamond causing the ball to come off of the long rail first and potting his object ball in the side. Of course should a could a kind of comment but I make that two rail kick more often then missing. Would have been an exciting approach to a do or die moment too. Pool is amazing.

    Watching this after seeing Sky beat Orcollo for 100k on a bar table. Amazing how much he has grown

    Soft breaking on a bar box with magic rack. Doesn't get any easier than that. Nuff said

      Lol it doesn't matter. Two of the best us players. They could break with a broomstick.

      So why didn't you play if its that easy ?

    Skylar's game has slowed down. Most players slow down the older they get.I used to run around the table when I was in top gear running out from everywhere but I have drastically slowed down.

    Why all these young guns in such a hurry to finish a game of pool? Relax. Enjoy yourself. It looks like pool is more n ego trip for the young guns than it is a game. Skyler doesnt even look relaxed sitting down. Not even any fun to watch people play pool this fast. pool is meditation for me, but I been playing for 50 years

    • @ModestlyBland
      @ModestlyBland Před 8 lety

      anyone who plays pool for money is a "pro." I have been playing since I was 7yo, now 60. yay!!

    • @briantrip5022
      @briantrip5022 Před 8 lety

      You want to play for money?

    • @ModestlyBland
      @ModestlyBland Před 8 lety

      I stopped playing for money twenty years before you were born. I am old school. I don';t play for ego or pride. Pool is meditation for me. When I played tournaments and leagues I was rated around .870, but it stopped being fun when I started noticing all these loud mouthed, flamboyant, flashy "bangers" coming into the game. Pool is an art. I appreciate the skill of these young players but I derive no pleasure watching them play. I have probably seen every SVB, Bustamante, Reyes pool video on you tube 50 times because their play is cerebral. Most young people playing pool today are all about flash and ego. Bores me senseless.

      Sky Woodward is one of the top players in the world. Keep bragging about how you play in your league
