This is definitely a carry option in 10mm. I also would love to see it in a hammer fired configuration. Love the ported slide

The former Sig X10 with the same mag choked on 220 Hard Cast. Only "When the mag was full of 220 hard cast". It actually functioned when only 3 or 4 were in the mag. Great video though!
I like the way the full size feels and I generally appreciate SIG quality, but I've seen too many issues with the SIG P320 platform. I think the XDM is the best platform for most people even though Chuke likes the FN. The FN is a bit too expensive for some of us.

Nice 👍 some times when I don’t get slide block it’s because my right thumb is riding on the catch release so I have to make sure I’m not riding it. Looks good 😊
Yeah that's usually what happens with me as well
My grip is too high, with glocks I use the KAG werks raised slide lock, it makes such a difference. Super high grip and still get slide lock. Unfortunately it doesn’t work with the shadows or zevs

I was able to check out a new release of the regular Xten, it's smooth like butter. I owned the original Xten and the newer manufactured ones are way better than the 'launch' Xtens.

It was nice to get a response from the second shooter which was genuine. Rather have a hammer fired pistol, not a fan of the 320 and not as a woods carry. Lots of reviewers are very much biased or at least trying to influence sales….but not all.

Did they fix the magazine from the previous gen?
I'd say either no or I just received defective mags. They fail to feed through and through even with FMJ. Certain rounds become loose and some even simply fall out of the mag entirely. I'm going to order more mags but if that doesn't fix issues, this gun is getting sold.
Do you like this for concealed carry over the 3.8 XDM?

I wonder if they’ve changed something- I also wonder if so if I can send back my X-ten full size and get whatever it is upgraded. It’s a great Handgun but after 500 rounds it still doesn’t like a full mag of anything
I want to figure out how to swap my full size as well. Maybe they do a conversion kit?
Are you having a hard time physically loading 15 rounds in the magazine? Or actually putting the magazine in the firearm once loaded?
It doesn’t like to chamber from a full magazine. Any ammo I’ve tried. Not a big deal but it sounds like they’ve changed something
What would u guess the % recoil reduction is vs the G20? Is it worth almost double the price?
IF Sig ever decides to offer these P320's (all versions) with a manual safety....I'm in. I would never carry them with that trigger and no safety...blade safety is ok, but the frame safety is much better imo...and they already offer it on other offerings... P365's, XM17, XM18. At least give us the option.

Most people are comfortable enough woth their firearms to not need a manual safety but I agree it would be nice to have options. You can put any slide on the m17/18 models so you can have any p320 except the xten with a safety

When a trigger is as light as this one, combined with a short reset and takeup and potentially going to be used in the woods, I'd personally like a manual safety on it as well. Hopefully SIG rectifies this with their next XTen offering. Good to hear from you again too!
I know there's a gentleman that has a CZcams channel called Sig guy LLC. And I know that he does some stuff with adding and removing the manual safeties. I would check out his channel and or his web page. I would think that you could order the components to upgrade your fire control unit and then would just need the correct module in order to make that all happen
AB prototype also will add a manual safety to the xten.
What are your thoughts/ findings on open emitter red dots? Have you had any issues in your climate with snow/rain/fog on the lense or emitter?
I've seen issues with both open and closed dots. Snow can interfere with the emitter especially in an open holster. When shooting it isn't an issue in my experience.
Aside from snow getting in the window, nope. Even then it has to be really caked in there. But one quick finger wipe and it’s good. Honestly I’ve ran into more issues with rain obscuring the widow. I really like closed emitters personally. I have one on my ccw, but closed emitters bring another level of potential issues that are a lot harder to remedy than the one presented by open emitters
Awesome. Thanks for the info. I appreciate the feedback. I was hesitant to pull the trigger on an open emitter, as the internet claims there junk now since a few closed emitter options are available, that closed emitter will fog or become unusable because of snow or rain or dirt ect. Alot of those would be non issues im guessing for concealed carry.
There are too many internet experts, and hard to know who actually has any real world experience.

There is benefits to both
It’s easier to get a cheaper open emitter, the cheapest closed id go is holosun, but there’s been some issues at higher round counts from credible sources of fogging and failure., the aim point seems to be doing really well, but is soooo expensive, for the price of that, I’d get an SRO and some training.

Not meaning to stir up a debate or anything, but the issues the 9mm P320s have been exhibiting concern me. Is that something that would similarly affect the P320 XTen? I want to get into 10mm, and this pistol is the one I like the most for size, ergonomics, etc., but I'm a bit leery of the 320 line at the moment.
I personally haven't heard of these issues plaguing the 10mm P320's. Perhaps some other viewers can weigh in if they have any additional info. The experience I have is extensive time on the original XTen and then this range time with the Xten comp
There are no p320 issues. Only a tiny number of LEOs had p320s go off in holsters and purses- civilians haven't.

I have one, it's not a bad gun at all. But the SIG XTen Comp is what I want to get. I have the 365X/XMacro and now want this one.
No sigs for me and 10MM is definitely watered down to .40 unless we buy or load real 10MM ammo that meets the specs. Next question remains…will we actually get a summer this year??
I like this one, it impressed me. Not hard to find real 10mm on the shelves. As to summer, I really hope so. Missing last summer makes it an extra tough winter to stomach, doesn't it
