Thanks for the comment! I made an entirely separate video on Urbana, since it really should be treated as its own city. And Adamstown and Middletown are actually their own cities, so not technically neighborhoods in Frederick. Thanks again!
What about Lake Linganore? New neighborhoods, great houses, great neighbors.

Renn Quarter has the potential to be a top neighborhood. The location is amazing. We just have to see how they finish developing their community areas and bring it all together. I'll make a video about it soon.

Yes, Lake Linganore (New Market) is a GREAT place to live. They are adding more hiking trails and a new beach on the lake in 2023. Reach out when you're ready to start searching!
Living downtown was a tremendous disappointment. Only a relatively small area feels safe. I certainly wouldn't live south of the creek or north of 3rd. Don't let the daytime festivals fool you. The creek doesn't feel safe at night. Most of the grand houses are rentals and have been broken up into apartments. Home ownership is hampered by the draconian Historic Preservation Commission. With relatively few exceptions, the shops are directed at tourists not residents. The former Asiana restaurant has been vacant for as long as anyone can remember and remains a huge embarrassment. Parking is a nightmare, but you can't go without a car because there are no grocery stores nearby, not even small ones. In short, it's a nice place to visit, but I don't recommend living there. I did, and I couldn't wait to get out.

Urbana deserves an entire video. Feels more like a city and less like a neighborhood!

East Church
East Church is a nice neighborhood, what makes it number one though? 🤔
@@movingtomaryland close-knit community. If you don’t love dogs, you might as well not move here because just about everyone has a dog. Nice clubhouse nice open area for kids to run around and throw the frisbee or a ball with your dog walking path in the back. food vendor once a week garden club.
