Zero G was so underrated, the concept of synchrome is so cool but executed terribly. I wish they re-introduced the synchrome system again in X... hopefully...
It was a LITTLE bit too powerful tho. Mixing 2 metal parts was insane for weight.
Yeah I guess it was too much for X, the metals would be flying like crazy. Hope they revive it on next gen or something
A lot of people donât remember this likely because they were too young, but after Bakuten officially ended there were rumors left and right about new Beyblade series. There was the canceled series which was supposed to be some kind of Beyblade concept with an insect theme, in addition to the Bomberman-inspired action toys that spun like Beyblades and used rip cords as weapons. Lastly, there was a user on a popular Beyblade forum that predicted the MFB series years before it was ever released, and even predicted the new naming schemes for Beys saying âThey will be named similar to car models,â referring to the names like Pegasus 145WD using numbers and letters to codify them. I remember he predicted this about 4-5 years before MFB was a thing. This was a complete switch up from the way Beyblades were named in Bakuten.
Maybe TakaraTomy employers were lurking those forums..
I remember that bomberman thing youâre talking about! I wonder if I can get some for a videoâŠ
Before Beyblade, the creator of Beyblade (NOT Takao Aoki!) had a line of battling tops based on Bomberman called SugeGoma/CoolTops. But then he created the concept of customizing parts with the battling tops and thatâs how Beyblade came to be.
After Beyblade ended, the SugeGoma-like top figures were re-released as a new toy continuing the Beyblade legacy. But it was very very short lived.
I just remembered an insane detail from the person who posted about the rumored new Beyblade after G-Rev on those forums long ago: he said the new Beyblade would be called âBEYBLADE Xâ
I forgot what the name of the forum was but this was way before WBO. It had a banner of Tala/Yuriy from the manga scene when he had Ray at gun point. Just thinking about those times when I was still in middle school, I had few worries..
â@@BeatEngine-qr7if Hasbro's beywarriors Shogun steel got inspired from sugegoma tho ...
If u remembered beywarriors Shogun steel toys
Weâre never âtoo coolâ for anything. We are human and we like what we like and the âyour to old for Xâ is what will cause you paying x4 for something in the future.
Exactly! As an early teen I just had the wrong mindset. Now I know beybladeâs for everyone đđ»
I opened my CZcams to rewatch your videos, then this popped up. That's crazy timing

Unreleased Beyblades should be a crime
Metal Gen is the best for me as they're my childhood
Same with me and burst, we'll. I watched metal gen as kid partially. But when I came back to anime, I was heavy into burst
@@l-4694 I skipped burst but aware that it's good. It's just that, Metal gen as my favorite made me hate plastic contact so I did not get any burst bey. I'm active in Beyblade X now as they've made it to metal contact that can also burst so it feels like I can somewhat enjoy both metal and burst
@@Tentenszx idk how to feel about X gen. It's cool but, seems like they'd break each other a lot. Beys probably broke eachother in metal fury, but like X seems like it would have it break more cause of the high speed impacts. The burst designs and gimmicks really grabbed me, so many unique designs and gimmicks had me rolling at hoe much I enjoyed them XD. As a collector I'm probably only gonna do burst, and maybe be metal fury. I've already started with burst. But I'm probably gonna skip X. As an anime fan, i'm definitely gonna try to watch all
@@l-4694 breakages are very rare in X
Jake teaching me more in 12 minutes then school will in 12 years đ
What a Great Video Bro!!đ„
@@Flowbeyblade thank you đđ»
I definitely enjoyed this! It's crazy thst so many beys have been scrapped throughput history. I loved zero g and thought it was slept on since it was a breath of fresh air since they had nothing further for the pre season 4 bladers. Plus the synchrome system being pretty interesting and the wild twist of doji in season 4 đ€Ł
Zero G was definitely one of the most unique seasons⊠I need to go back to it sometime
@@nuc When are you guys collabing again?
Shogun Steel was SEVERELY underrated! I would have loved to obtain Berserker Byakko, Guardian Garuda, and Phantom Fenrir if they were put into production.
They are also kind of expensive nowđą
Honorable mention: Pegasis 105F's prototype.
That version was used in most teasers from back when MFB was recently revealed.
It had a different design on the wings that had really exposed contact points. (Sorta like Victory Valkyrie)
Then on the actual release, we got the final version with a more filled up semi-hexagonal shape that still hits hard.
Maybe it was too light or too recoily for it's own good back then that they had to change it.
Bits of the prototype design can still be appreciated in the final mold, however.
We can all agree Shogun Steel >>> Beywheelz & Beywarriorz
Yes
But this shows us that Beyblade multiverse is true
I remember being so confused as a kid on how Shogun Steel just stopped, little did I know that they just stopped the show to get ready for Beyblade Legends and they were preparing for a new gen of beyblade
About the Insect Game. It is a thing where children in Japan pick up beetles and have them fight.
Yep. Insect battling, like Beigoma which Beyblade is based off, is a classic game kids play in Japan in the summer. This game was the original inspiration for the Pokémon franchise.
Beyblade was going to cash in on the insect concept by combining two traditional games (Beigoma + Insect collecting) but it was a tough time to make Beyblade spin offs; they couldnât make it as easily as they did BeyWheelz and Warriors.
Bug fighting is also similar to how Pokemon was created. The creator was inspired by his childhood in Japan catching bugs and having them fight and stuff. So maybe Beyblade Insect was based off of that? It was growing popular around the same time as Beyblade. Although I donât think a bug themed line really suits the type of vibe or game that blading is.
True. PokĂ©mon turned the concept of bug fighting into monster fighting. The idea of use a beetle BEYBLADE just doesnât seem as appealing. HMS was def a cooler direction
@@nuc Oh for sure! I think the only acceptable bug themed Beyblade would have to be like a giant wasp or something more intimidating. Maybe a scorpion? But thatâs an arachnid so it wouldnât be an insect. Idk. Definitely glad Beyblade took a more mythical approach moving forward. Except with X, some of the avatars are just IRL animals đ like a LeonClaw, WiessTiger and RhinoHorn.
Lions! Tigers! And rhinos! Oh my! Oh yeah and a shark. đ
Too cool for Beyblade mentality also hits me back in 2013 đ ..
Look at me now at the age of 25 with responsibilities , ended starting collecting them again đ
This was masterfully composed. Well done!
đđ»đđ»
I wish those Zero G beys got released! Byakko was so hype. Oh, and Donât forget! In the manga, strike hawk and stone mont blank were actual beys. Instead of just wizard arrow and knight shield recolors. They had actual combos too
True! Although with no known TT or Hasbro plans to release them, they didnât quite fit in the video.
I for one would definitely like to see a video dedicated to the ill-fated Zero-G line. :)
I just woke up and saw this
Same
Yeah I would love to see about why the beyblade zero g series failed, cuz I thought that the beyblades except the stadium was cool, and great video as always man, thank u
I love zero-g personally. I wish TT released the final 3 beys from that line.
I expected them to create a new insect motif in Beyblade X which was canceled in the past
Bro you really cooked with this video , great video and amazing editing as always đ„đ„đ„ (also nice touch using the ost from the games lol)
Thank you!
It's also worth mentioning Beyblades that were never meant to be released but exist in some form, like Tryhorn and the Beys from the Metal fusion Wii game
JUSTICE FOR TRYPIO!!
This is so cool! I love the mystique behind cancelled and unreleased things, so this definitely scratched my itch for both that and Beyblade. Thank you so much man! Hope you have a great day/night! (Not sure which one it is for you in case you are reading this)
Thanks for the nice comment!!
I can add on to the cancelled Burst stuff. So last year, there was supposed to be Pro Series releases of Rage Longinus/Luinor and King/Kolossal Helios. It wasn't until November of last year that they were cancelled because some ended up waited for their pre-orders from Entertainment Earth. Now, those two are two of the most rarest beyblades to own due to the super low amount that was made before it's cancellation.
Dang I didnât even know about that!
I love those Zero G beys very much including Berserker Byakko. I still want them to be made
You can always get Benchblades custom made ones!
ngl, as a kid... the ending to Shogun steel made me hopeful that we were gonna get another world tournament season for mfb. i was hype to see new syncrome beys since there were so few. but then i saw the commercials for the first season of burst and my hopes were crushed.
About the too cool for Beyblade mentality. That also hit me as I was entering my teens at 13 during the release of Shogun/Zero G. And I eventually circled back years later to catch the superking era of burst. And now the X series.
I actually own Dragoon MF and been in love with it ever since I got it.
Nice!
Nice video. I have the video from Bench Blade channel in my cellphone, and I see it almost everyday.
I also have a lot of story with the Beyblade series: I was a kid when the Bakuten saga was airing in my country, then I started as a blader during the Metal saga, and I saw how the Burst saga debuted. Now I'm watching how the X saga is about to get a second season, and still no victory for Bird Kazami.
While not cancelled, one thing that was never brought over to the west was Sol Blaze V145 AS. I think the reason for that was because of it's ties to the "Metal Fight Beyblade Vs. The Sun: Sol Blaze The Scorching Hot Invader" movie, which was never officially localized.
True! Definitely would fit into the unreleased section I think. Sad they never brought that movie over.
8:50 Not yet, the japanese dub of QS does exist, but we're still waiting for a release date
I didnât know beyblade was this deep lmao
QuadStrike ep20 was released in Japan
Bro just reminded me I'm old
I felt SUPER old while making this video đ
Shinobi Shadow looks like a tide pod now you canât unsee it
I don't necessarily hate it, but just my opinion that Zero G was the worst and weakest season of Beyblade
Both in terms of products and the Anime
The Anime storyline and plot was kinda... frustrating
I think one interesting story to mention is that of PHW Cancer. The only horoscope bey to not receive a Metal System counterpart, Cancer is an absolute oddity amongst Beyblade's history. It's only theory, but I and a few others have speculated that after a prototype of Quetzalcoatl's metal wheel surfaced online, and the face bolt icon for Cancer being found in the first MFB DS game's files... Quetzalcoatl 90WF is Quetzalcoatl, but with Cancer's metal wheel. Similar enough in design that when they had problems with Quetzalcoatl in testing, they could just swap them out. It's very obvious too, judging by the crab claw shape of the contact points and the crab legs between each of them. Sorry Quetzalcoatl stole your outfit, Cancer.
I still seriously miss the burst series, it was a good run in my opinion
Could you do a video on all beys that were depicted in some form of media but just never made as opposed to being cancelled like alot of plastic gen beys please ?
I just realized I have some parts of Zero G BEyblade I bought from Goodwill.
I also like the idea of bouncing stadium from Zero G
I ended up getting phantom Fenir, berserk Byakko and guardian garudas yet are all made of Stainless steel-
@@Skyestriker17 Nice pickups!
@@nuc sadly Phantom and Beserker broke, now I'm doing a villan combo I saw in a dream
May fit into the canceled beys. But Cyber Dranzer, Cyber Driger, Cyber Dracil. Only Cyber bey that was released was Cyber Dragoon. And I canât remember if the monster beys was released from team dark from plastic generation. I know there was Dracula, mummy, werewolf, Frankenstein.
I'm still upset we never got Beserker Byako,Guardian Garudas and Phantom Fenrir
I'm gonna be honest I actually liked Zero-G/shogun steel except for the beywarriors toys,I also liked beywheels both in execution and concept how it's a different branch of beyblades then what were used to,and as for trigger f never having a burst (hasbro) release it technically did it was just such a little amount that it's not even considered to have been officially released.
Quadstrike was just such a weird oddity for burst. It never even used the designs for the japanese bu products. They instead decided to use the watered down hasbro designs. And the whole elemental power plot just made no sense, as well as pax's motivations for becoming a villain just not fitting in with anything. And in the end of the season (spoilers btw if you care), we never got to see bel have his long awaited battle with valt, which I think could've ended up being pretty good. That's just my opinion on it though
I don't know if this is relevant for you but there's a sort of a spin-off called "Beyblade Evolution Crossarms". Released in December of 2004 until 2005 by Takara. I only discovered it this month. I think it's rare for the fact that Beyblade was pretty much dead in the water. They're a bit similar to the Hasbro's Beywarriors Shogun Steel toys. I think there's a commercial here on YT too.
Hmmm⊠I donât think Iâve heard of that! Iâll have to check that out.
PPPLLEEAASSEE Do Shogun steel. I feel like it's the forgotten middle child in beyblade History. It's my personal favorite behind metal fury.
Fr like the recent Bey X manga when a character named Queen Manju is retelling about her previous loses to talented bladers, the panel show us shadow silhouettes of all previous beyblade protagonist except Zyro lol like him and his entire Zero G line doesn't exist in their eyes for some reason
@@ernestorio3550 BRO I WAS MALDING WHEN I DIDN'T SEE ZYRO!! Considering that Zero-G is a direct continuation from Metal Fury, it sucked that they just forgot bro's entire existence.
I really liked the idea of a swaying stadium.
Man i wish we get beetle themed beys some day ngl
I love video like this, make moređ
Do a video on shogun steel.
Fun fact: Beyblade Cyborg DID release in the US but was known as BeyRaiderz, there was also BeyWarriorz which didnt even get an anime đ
Will say tho i LOVED beywheelz cause they were fun to use. And Zero G was my generation i grew up from which is why i love Beyblade X so much, like a revamp of those guys
Uh, I donât think thatâs correct? Beywarriors: Beyraiderz is one reason. Then there was Beywarriors cyborg. Theyâre two different seasons.
@@nuc ohhhhhhh I didn't know bey warriors cyborg was season 2 my bad đ
Just thought I'd put this out there, but we did have an English version of beywarriors, but I've never heard of cyborg though?
What about the bird thingy that we saw at the start of x? (I think it had a fist or something but its not strike hawk chip Design it was something other)
Did it got cancelled too? Or they just forgot about it?
It never was gonna get released at all I think. Never really heard any plans or anything.
I remember finding a bey warriors cyborg... Bey, at a Citi trends. Mind you I live in Floridaâ ïž
This just showed up on my TL I see my childhood so I click
Im still angry that berserker byakko wasnât released
Tbh i thought this video was him showing 3d beys of the unreleased onesđ
Zero g system feels like low n high mode for db burst
i just want to say the beyblade car things did have somewhat of a release. they were called bey raiders i believe. i got some for Christmas one year.
Yes, but those were for the previous season. Beyraiderz. Cyborg was afterwards and a separate story but products never came out.
I think mini insect beyblades would be cool. Iâd love bumble blade to fight horn beetle.
Cool research.
Never knew these beys existed đź
I blame Hasbro for canceling their burst ones and not making barricade
Ilinuc I saw your* comment about throwing in an encyclopedia on the kingdom hearts timeline.Lolz.
The Big Bad Beetle Beys would have been awesome!!
Cyborg did release and air in the U.S. as beyraiders with the toy line
@@grimmsoul1343 no. It didnât. Beywarriors beyraiders is the 2nd season of the 3 spinoffs. Cyborg is the 3rd. There is no cyborg toyline.
Hey comment section is there a hasbro beyblade x app
Shogun steel really should have continued
What do you think the other half?Of 0G would have been like.Yes we do want that video
Any Plastic Gen fan ? â€
hasbro thinking they can outshine takara is still hilarious to me bcs they fail every time. the flop of the metal fury line should have made that clear.
If someone can get the blueprints for beyblade insect beys, get them to BenchBlade to make them for us.
Someone I think made their own recreations. You can find the files online. Idk how accurate they are tho
@@nuc awesome. Also I wish BenchBlade could make X-beys of the fist of all the blade breakers and work his way up. Spin Dragoon, Max's unnamed Bey in the manga, Ultimate Frostic Dranzer. Things like that
7:38 beywarriors (shogun steel and beyrauders) did happen in the US and there was a toy line. I actually have a couple from both Didnt really watch the show tho
@@notcreative8325 beywarriors beyraiderz did. Cyborg did not.
âââ@@nuc ah i missunderstood. I get why they didnt sell well. They wernt all that fun and the beywariors sucked to launch. I always eneded up with a skinned or bleeding hand after lol
i do find it odd that knight lance didnt release in america as of rn i thought it would of at least be in the first wave
Yeah I think itâs wave 2.
I had around 100s of HMS beys which I recently sold đ

Out of my gripes for hasbro, and its failures. The one that hit me the most is the fact that they stuck SO MUCH to the gimmicks that they missed out on big opportunities.. in the form of the Anime. Don't get me wrong I love the final season, and some of little easter eggs it had. But you mean to tell me you have all of these hasbro exclusive products, and main control over the anime.. and decided to not put those extras in? This is what hit me the most because though the gimmicks are lack lustered, I would have loved to see the actual good side of hasbro in the form of innovation to the anime with potentially more characters, and a even longer story so it doesn't feel rushed cause i swear the dumbest thing they did... was lower the episode count to 26 rather than 30+ episodes to make things slightly more stretched, and better pacing. Whole point is, those extra Quadstrike, and even Quaddrive beyblades could have played a epic part in the Anime.. but like the reverse to Magma Ifrit's situation, we got design, and actual toy for the beyblade.. but no anime appearance.
Also little bonus: The elements in beyblade burst Quadstrike is an homage to the original 4 elements to the plastic gen beyblades
Lighting: Drigger
Wind: Dragoon
Water: Draciel
Fire: Dranzer
But there is a L-drago guardian hasbro release
Yes but it didnât get a full hyperblades style release. So we never got the true bey.
@@nuc true. I thought they hasbro release had s130MB... my bad
