I had an old piece of rebar lying around in my cutlery draw and it wasnt to sharp so i decided to unleash its full potential and turn it into a pizza knife.

I love how close the forge is kept to the wood fence
Just fyi. If you are going to continue to forge, it would increase the efficiency if you modify your anvil. This is actually the reason it was harder than it needed to be as you said. When the anvil is bouncing around with every strike, the bounce is just showing you all the energy you are losing that is not going into the work. You can upgrade your existing anvil (the rail) by increasing the weight. Find a very very large stump and secure it to that. You can also just nail 2x4s together over and over to make a fake stump. The big thing is to focus on getting A LOT of weight. The anvil should not move AT ALL when struck. Also positioning is very important. When you are standing upright with you hammer in hand, the face of the hammer should come to rest square on the face of the anvil with the slightest bend in your elbow. Third, flip the rail over. You should use the thick side for the striking as it, again, will cause less energy to be lost into the anvil. All these things together will make your strikes MUCH more efficient. You will be able to move the work more and waste less energy. Final upgrade would be to buy an anvil...but damn the proper ones have gotten expensive.

I'm going to make this. I just bought a new anvil last week, a 80kg peddinghaus, and I think this is the absolute best way to start the forging season.

As someone who tends to go on tangents during a story, I love the tangents you go on.
The thing I'm worried about with ReBar is that the only concern of the manufacturer is that the properties meet the requirements of a particular standard. There's little or no documentation of the metal's metallurgy which means it could flavor the food with very little contact.

The most common type of rebar is carbon steel, typically consisting of hot-rolled round bars with deformation patterns. Other readily available types include stainless steel, and composite bars made of glass fiber, carbon fiber, or basalt fiber. The steel reinforcing bars may also be coated in an epoxy resin designed to resist the effects of corrosion mostly in saltwater environments, but also land based constructions.
Now, as we can see on the Video - the rebar was rusted. Meaning, it was made of Carbon Steel and nothing else. Even if it had the Epoxy Resin coat - it would have burnt-off in the forge.
The only thing that is a negative is the fact that it will go rusty if he doesn't dry it properly after washing it.
Seeing the pizza desecration made me physically depressed.

It came out cool looking I like how you used the original texture to make the handles not only does it look cool but I'm sure it grips very well too, and this video inspired me to give you an idea for a similar invention to make a scythe out of a rebarb a long one like deaths
Tip: Bend the handles inward so you push down from the top to cut the pizza. It gives you more leverage. I worked at a pizza place and all the cutters had you pushing down from the top
or you could push the pizza down onto the cutter.
