Oh Mina 😳. My heart ❤️ goes out to you. I too was sick during the holidays but sometimes God just wants you to rest. So take good care of yourself 😊. I always enjoy your videos and I ordered a couple of the sketchbooks that you demoed. We can always find a use for paper. Happy New Year 🎉

Exactly! It's the thought that counts and giving you a gift card or supplies that you specifically asked for means they did put thought into it. They wanted to get you art supplies, best gift ever for an artist, and they also wanted to you to enjoy and use the supplies they got you. In my opinion, buying you art supplies would have been thoughtful, but getting you gift cards was DOUBLY thoughtful!

Im so sorry to hear of your health troubles, but super that you are recovering. My twins had covid during xmas newyear and i could go on so we too had a poorly december, but we are all getting better too. I really enjoy your content and dont worry about music, for me it is more about seeing (and enjoying) your gifts and learning what you think of said artsupplies. ❤😊❤
1) I 100% agree with your philosophy re: art supply gifts. My husband is into tech stuff/computers, which I have about as much knowledge about as he does my art supplies, and we have been known (for birthday gifts etc) to just send one another funds via Apple Pay 😂. 2) I’m sorry to hear about your ear infections and hope your hearing will return!

I’ve wanted to try Da Vinci paints for a very long time and I wanted to get the tester set, which with conversion rate to Australian currency is about $45- $50 but the shipping is over $150 which is ridiculous.
I purchase from America quite often and I’ve never paid more than $30 postage And that’s with the conversion rate I don’t know why they make it so expensive when they are a large company and cannot afford not to charge so much. I’ve bought from very small businesses and they don’t even charge this. I’m very lucky that Miranda from à la Creek art on CZcams sent me a dot card of 24 so that I could try the colours out. There is still some colours I want to try particularly their gouache and some of their deeper more moody colours, but it’s simply not a financial possibility at that price.
have the same issue with shipping to Canada...straight up the coast from California...crazy...seems like you need to find a retail store in Australia...that brings them in...I think Davinci...like americans or else...wholesale companies...internationally...not individuals that live internationally!...sad but true!
