I love watercolour so much, the way they flow, and the way the colours interact, I've been practicing really hard, so that one day I'll be able to paint as nice as you! I've looked through your instagram and your paintings are gorgeous I'm absolutely amazed. I love painting big portraits, for my family members as gifts, I love the smiles they bring. These colours will be the greatest extra edition to my usual 24 colours, so I'd really love a chance to win. I can't believe just how much you're giving away! I used to love art in school but college kind of knocked it out of me for a while (if you weren't the 'right' type of artist, you were kind of treated like you were a waste of time). I started rediscovering the love of art whenever I got chance to attend community classes but the watercolour class was by far my favourite! I've recently been getting ideas for a children's book but definitely need lots of practice before I throw myself into that project. I came across your video as I was researching brands and types of watercolour paint. Those granulating options especially look so pretty! Like they'd be perfect for something fantasy-inspired.
I hardly ever see anyone using Rembrandt maybe I'm just not looking har enough but I love that you are showing off a band I don't see super often

In Europe, Rembrandt is widely availabla.. maybe since youtube algorithm only shows you videos close to your location or on a specific language that’s why there are not much reviews you see from the rest of the world. In almost all the shops I go to all over europe, Rembrandt is available as it is easy for retailers to carry it since it is from Netherlands. Honestly, I enjoy painting with it and have some extra tubes too as I shared on this haul

I am excited about the Schmincke dot cards! are you going to make a video swatching them out? I actually ordered a few White Nights granulating colors but never got them in the order because they were out of stock! fingers crossed :)
The granulated purple inthe white night looks be soo pretty !!!!
I would love try the brush in the rembrant case but the pallete should be porcelain or ceramic!!!

I am a relatively new watercolor painter, still in the initial learning phase. I have a couple of palettes to get me started and am hoping Santa might bring me a surprise. I just LOVE the look of granulating paints! They are so rich and interesting and have promised myself that at some point i would like to get some. The White Night brand has interested me from the beginning of my watercolor journey. I watch you and other artists on Utube who have vast collections of watercolor pallettes and am amazed. I don’t know how you would pick one pallette over the others to work with on any given day!

Hello! sorry for late reply💕 Your comment is very authentic & You are right, it is difficult to choose which palettes to use when I do art. There are really some favorites and some left untouched. It is best to grab colors you like and use them all the time than collecting like I do 😅

I use Rembrandt a lot, love the paint, I just don't understand why the palet is plastic😥😭... I only now about the boxes with caramic palets.... And you are right Van Gogh and Rembrandt are much more simular in performance then say W&N Cotman and their professional range.
Van Gogh imoo is (one of) the best student grade!
Right? with the difference in pricepoint I expect a ceramic or porcelain mixing plate from rembrandt like other bigger brands curating wooden boxes.

Hi, I managed to get the White Nights Botanical set at a half-off discount for Christmas 🥰 Unfortunately, it does not seem that the Granulating sets or the individual pans for these colors are available at any of the places where I regularly shop for watercolors ☹
Hello! So glad you got the Botanical Set on a great deal. In amazon US these sets pop up ever so often. I had to hunt them down and bought them from Artemiranda. Some are from my travels to the Baltic Countries that still have them in stock.

I do not have a big art studio.. I paint all over the house but I have an electronic Table I can adjust the height. For Storage I have 1 book case & 1 Ikea Alex drawer.
Yes I do collect several sets and I would love to have atleast 1 set for each watercolor brand 😅
- Some I havent used yet only because I haven’t found the time yet and I want to film the 1st impressions.
I do not have backups of my sets but on some I have duplicate colors
My year end video will be my Favorite Art supplies so stay tuned 💕

I am just disappointed that for the price the wooden set was.. it looks very similar to Van Gogh which is half the price (atleast on my location)..
