the concept its cool the power honestly it is not. xpecially after latest changes on other classes and ret itself. Self healing and dmg in pvp its mediocre, the burst on certain classes is basicly irrelevant. Saw alot of duels from multi glad ret and they are all complaining on healing and dmg. I also play beta i can agree with them before the tune paladin was strong enough but now...its an hard try class. But ye i agree with you when u say concept its cool. But atm i'm disappointed on the point where Ret is. Just my opinion ofc.

I don't know, the dmg looks fine, but from some duels i saw, it looks too squishy, they nerfed Ret defensives and buffed everyone else.
did they change this 30 yard range bullshit on a melee caracter?
Nope. Can still throw hammers at hunters who think they can kite. Now with Judgment doing a ton of damage too.
like 2 ponies and 2 freedoms wouldn't be enough
@@bogdanrotaru6101 Not really. You usually pony into a freezing trap or binding shot or get knocked back.
I play a BM/MM hunter as an alt, and I don't fear rets as much as I fear arms warriors with their Swiss army knife of gap closers and cc and bladestorm spam to get out of cc and become immune to it, and also rogues who just kill you in 5 seconds through turtle.
@@sygmarvexarion7891 how about making melee be melle agian and caster be casters again. Too much ranged bullshit, instant casts and gap closers in this game

Tbh, I would very much like to be able to play MM Hunter in solo casual PVP, and be able to kite melee, like it used to be until Shadowlands.
I don't really like Ret Pala, I think it's rather boring, but I have to play it because I really like winning in 1v1 and casual bgs and Ret Pala is basically cheat mode at these while MM is just not good at that anymore nor is any other ranged spec.
The ugly reality is that melee specs completely stomp on all ranged specs in solo casual PVP like 1v1, warmode and bgs. Melee have too many tools to hit a target at range or stick to it, too many micro ccs, and ranged specs have too few of everything.
How is the selfhealing?

Better than dragonflight, but still not where it should be for an hybrid class.
