do you know if old god tentacles can split like Tree roots? those purple "infested planets" look overgrown to me.
this would make the scene with Aman´thul ripping out a world tree at the same time frame as Y'Shaarj ALOT more interesting.
I really hate how they compressed Classic-Cataclysm into 3 years. I think the timeline should have just reflected the real time release of the expansions.

Other than being the predecessors to the elves, trolls were not very competitive out there, yeah. Stuck to their guns and watched the elves shove themselves.

Literally just finished your video from four years ago about the story of warcraft. Started looking for an updated version that included what happened after BFA. Then you uploaded this! The timing was excellent.
I love how Nobbel also acknowledges that for how weird things are on Azeroth, we never get to see any of it from the avg. joe perspective :(
Anyone remember the official timeline they used to had on the WoW website? I basically memorized it, lol. And then Metzen retconned it for BC!

I believe I am 20 something videos through the first Chronological playlist, hope I can make it all the way through but these quick videos help me get caught up and excited for the new xpac!
I was secretly hoping you'd jump right from BfA to Dragonflight, glossing over the expansion that shall not be named
The expansion is a lil too important to the lore to simply be forgotten about
Like I get the question of what farmers would think looking up and seeing a god humping the planet.
But I feel like that leads to a much more massive question, how are there still any farmers left?
With all the stuff that has attacked the world and the different prepatch events how would a regular farmer still exist.
I’m surprised that after everything that’s happened, the citizens of Azeroth haven’t largely thrown up their hands and said “oh, screw it. Just let this world end already.”
The gravity alone of another massive object next to the planet should probably shake the surface to pieces. Earthquakes, Tsunamis, and eruptions. Almost like a second cataclysm....

Did I miss the portion of the global Troll Empire (Zul/Ama/etc.) or the Mogu rule of Pandora? Pretty sure that was around the same time as the Well/Sundering/WotA time.
Those were a couple thousand years before the Sundering.

It’s crazy that the twisting nether transcends time but at the same time the legion has a timeline where they won the war of the acients with illidan joining the legion and then killing malfurion, so many questions now, like if the legion has won why did everything in legion happen???
Watching this and then seeing where MoP falls in and with Remix going on right now, just makes me like that expansion and my Pandaren Monk main even more. All the lore and culture and everything Pandaria offers is amazing, to me anyway and how some of its story ties into TWW with the titan facilities and such. I'm once again very invested into WoW.
Speaking of Argus humping the planet, I love the intro quest line for joining the tree covenant. The forest folk call BS when they give the history of azroth. Wait a dude stabbed the planet? Where did he get enough metal for a sword to do that? Did he smelt a planet to destroy another planet?

Timeline from year 0 Is stunning, I mean i didn't realize that the story was in only 40 years. Instead the Meaning of all the Lore from 200.000 year before the dark portal Is Clear: Is All Zooval Plan ...sigh.

Thanks for the short summary of all WC history. Will you upload War Within lore complete in a chronological order with only cinematics and in-game cutscenes?
I'm sure he will cover all new content as it comes out, as he has for years and years. If you're looking for something like "The War Within: The Movie" or whatever, this isn't the right channel though. Nobbel covers all the details.
@@mokarokas-1727 I used to follow Athelarious for that. But he started spamming same scenes in 10s of different videos and he messed up the chronological orders as well. Nobbels seemed more stable.

Blizz really needs to hire you and others like you to keep track of their lore and thump them over the head when they're being dumb and contradicting what's already in the game. I'm still surprised that after Shadowlands there's this time skip and....everything is ok. They were building things up like Turyalion (sp?) was gonna go all religious zealot while holding the throne. Pretty sure they were swearing that we'd get a chance to see the Alliance be the bad guys instead of it always being the Horde...but guess that isn't happening.
Hope you enjoyed the summer, right back to rain and cold... not that i'm complaining. Idk what it's like on the other side of the North Sea but in England we are not fuckin prepared for this heat and anything above 25 is unbearable.

Alodi first guardian. Aegwynn vs Sargeras/corrupted Aegwynn 830. 45 bdp = birth of medivh
So the deal is that it isn't Medivh who's impossibly old, but his mother is. She didn't want to pass on her Guardian powers and magically extended her life instead.

I mean, he only covered the past 10 000 years of Azeroth's history, starting from the War of the Ancients. The Titans were already long dead at that point, and records have been kept by Azeroth's mortals rather than the Titans. Titan records we've discovered only really cover history before that point in time.
