To be clear, i'm still having the opinion that the Spec tree is horribly designed and Stormstrike/Windfury are still a joke.
But overal, It kinda get saved by the ''bugfix?'' of Tempest.
I show you this in the video.
And lacking defensives, and alot of mandatory pvp talents while having only 3 spots.
dude why did Blizzard just completely poop on the shamans with their changes AND their Tier sets LOL the shoulders look like a warlock necro style
Elemental shaman still screwed by Tempest not scaling correctly.
If there is a better advertisement for not pre-ordering a live service game, how they are handling shaman atm is a great example.
I mean, there is a way to play the spec now, but I still want changes for my spec tree, and ideally good defs
@@ThoGrey Yeah I just don’t see any meaningful improvement for us in PvP.
The wolf capstone "elemental spirits" is a big damage amp for this spec. What are your thoughts about getting it instead of primordial wave. I often have 4 or 5 lightning wolves up on a target dummy. I think the buff stacks.
Hmmm it could be worth to test it. The issue with elemental spirits is getting the fire and frost ones, they don't add anything to that playstyle..
Having 5 lightning wolves is insane, but don't forget that it's rng for your feral spirits.. you could have periods without any damage increase.
the core gameplay of enha shaman was always random oneshot procs, wheather as windurry in classic, or with ascendance proc in retail. Just increase the deeply rooted to 15% and it would be fine.

let me clarify that the idea of one shot is limited in itself and does not characterize Enh. A theme akin to Fury Warrior, an impulsive assertive style that accidentally ramps up during pressure, is right for him. But this should not be entirely his idea of gameplay. It must be remembered that Enh is a melee support, inspiring an aggressive melee style of battle, giving support in this direction.

@@ThoGrey The shaman is a collective character, he lacks personal organization, protection and physical tactics, this weakness emphasizes identity well.
He does not know how to strictly fix himself on the target, avoid or prevent attacks, disable the target. Totemic and some magical utility, like a purge, and aggressive supporting strategy using elements. but problem, that PVE gameplay style, this is what he prefers most of all, which has already been reflected in other classes). Most dps play style like a Fury Warrior, when the maximum pressure of the goal and the DPS of synergia is appreciated.
In PVP situations, DPS pressure does not always solve.
For example, the hunter's approach to combat. Wait and build a convenient scenario, distance control the situation, and charge at the right moment with a lack of strength and endurance (survival).

Thanks for trying out. I think stormstrike build could make a comeback If they increase the chance of ascendance to 10% and reduce the cd to 2 minutes. But they still have to reduce the needed points for some talents in the tree.
Yeah still alot of work is needed, don't get me wrong.
I do think that now that the builds feel ''damaging'', atleast we have something to look forward to.
Enhance just needs grounding totem or burrow baseline and the spec would be alot better
Burrow should be baseline for all shamans

Alot of complaints about shaman overall. And i agree with most but still, resto seems pretty solid
Resto is defo solid, but Totemic is straight garbo for resto pvp. You need to talent for Healing Rain, and the healing will never be good smallscale because of it having AOE properties...
But, I do think Farseer is way better for Resto than Ele.
I mean enha is pretty good it just needs some changes in big cds, defensives ,mana consuption, rotation ,a complete rework in talents and a big change to hero talents. But other than that its rly good

I've always hated that maelstrom stacks bs. Just give enhancement the maelstrom as a resource. Easier to track than a little icon buff.

Yeah or a combo point style.. but tbf, People complain about uniformity and when it's different, we tend to complain aswell.. so it's a lose/lose situation most of the time.
In pugs, storm build with stormbringer is the only way 😂😂😂 been testing this whole beta, totemic requires a lot of set up

Enhancement is always strong right out the gate, as gear improves, enhancement sort of levels off....
If they keep heroism and instant elemental blasts they will have a spot in shuffle
stormblast 1.8% damage, weak for a talent. Enh have many weak talents. Frost strike, frost shock, flame shock, lava lash very weak abilities, that need to take much talents to improve them.
All specializations have Entry and Central level talents that are well divided into Single target and AOE, and within these categories they interact well and are useful to each other. while Enh Single target talents oppose each other and have no independent benefit.
Notice how often they take care of the talents of other classes, adjusting something, redistributing it, adding and improving
connections. And the stinginess with which they work on the shaman and Enh spec
Yeah defo alot of these talents could get a buff or get changes. This video is rather a positive take on enhance, but it doesn't take away the many things I really want to see changed for enhance.

PVP initially in WOW best reveals the player's choice, the concepts of classes and specializations, the spirit of Faction and races in practice.
And PVE scenarios limit these possibilities and disrupt the diversity of classes.
And it doesn't matter how many customers, consumers prefer this or that content. The game is defined by its philosophy and not by the random whims of superficial players

The class design is strongly limited by the PVE needs of the players, these scenarios, so that they are not offended, they do not allow a lot of fun abilities which would not be able to be implemented correctly in PVE, so that PVE players would not have claims that classes are not being done for them.
The PVE style can be implemented in PVP, but vice versa is not possible, which is why they make classes like this.
If you look at the whole retrospective, the features and mechanics of classes, it is obvious that they reveal themselves better in PVP. Look at pvp talents.
Sniper shot, unique MM hunt utility, Survival hunt range+melee tactics, Arms Warrior Duel, to a soldier concept. Shadow duel subtlety, and many other interesting and situational mechanics.
Many skills must be Baseline, but this destroy pve balance and scenario. PVP players are forced to limit themselves to 3 slots of their talents, based generally on the PVE class system...
