Permatex High Tack on the threads will stop the leak. It is rated for all automotive fluids.

hilbilly wrenchin, those hose fittings in your filter adapter are usually pressed in. If you can wiggle or pull them out, coat them with epoxy and press them back in, it will probably work. If you got that adapter on Amazon, they would probably replace it if it was leaking. Good luck.

Aluminum threads into aluminum housing must be very careful tightening. Remove and inspect for cracks. Just snug them because there is really no pressure to hold. Aviation sealant should also fix the threads from leaking and is also a valuable item to keep around the garage. Never dries but becomes thick and tacky. I believe it is fuel resistant and can allow threads to come loose in the future. If all else fails get adapters made of brass instead of aluminum.

Hi JOAT, just watched your HF Parts Washer pump replacement from 2 years ago.
What interested me most is your fuel pump feed to the basin. I'm about to modify my HF Parts Washer and would like to use the pump feed method also. Please be so kind to provide pump details, Model, Make and Part Number. Thanks in advance as I look forward to your response.

I know it's 2 years passes video but you need to use a pipe threading that will not be eaten away from solvent on few have a distributor locally that has gas stations you can go get some pipe dope from them that'll work

Why even bother with a black bull pump?
Why not pump from the fuel pump to the brush?

Amazon. And just like the original it didn't last over a year.
