Yeah I did it at the Indianapolis motor speedway when I was there for moto gp, did it later in the campground, and I was just overwhelmed by all the noise. It's definitely sensory overload when you're focused on every sound around you. And that was not my first time doing shrooms lol

So here I am in the backseat of a car with my mom and dad in the front seats to watch some fireworks near the water. I remember when it really hit was when my heartbeat started to slow down and I had to remind myself to breathe. Then I thought it was a good idea to go use the bathroom that was a couple blocks away walking by myself where all these explosions going off making me really paranoid. That was the last time I ate a true edible. Sorry for the long message, I just wanted to tell someone what I experienced.
Eh, especially if they're still with this crew by then it seems like a relatively safe place to do it. Its not like they're live on-air, its pre-recorded and edited, and it would be in one of their own backyards. They're responsible adults, these aren't teenagers on their first trip eating a handful of boomers and dissociating for days. Plus they all seem like they would enjoy the high of shrooms, especially Matt and Conan.
Also, don't do them if your toilet is backing up. I had to go outside and play hide and seek in the dark with my black cat to feel better, luckily I lived next to an art gallery that had two bronze life sized elephants on the lawn. Ended up having a great night.

Make a mushroom tea instead of eating caps. Easier on the stomache and I feel like its more mellow. But it still lasts a few hours.

I did psychedelics in college, and it did require "carving out the time",...because I had classes to attend and 3-D Art projects that needed to be created, and completed. Immediately I knew a great "trip" required time to take the drugs, waiting for them to "kick in", then getting lost in the experience, followed by mellowing out, and plenty of time to recover. So, Friday afternoon, through the whole weekend, and hopefully becoming clear minded by Monday, mid morning.

I think everyone should try Mushrooms at least once in their life. Of course, it has an important precondition, which is that it must be psychologically balanced and not experience any particular stress.
I think trying to seek experiences through substances is lazy and fleeting. Finding the purpose and people that light you up and give you fulfillment is not fleeting, but takes effort.
I have a friend who did LSD a long time ago in a hippie commune. That in itself was a wonderful experience for him. The problem was he had to go home and get back to normal life, work, study etc. And that made him depressed. He's been in and out of psych care for the last few years. He told me that he was probably not in the best mindset to be taking it, he used it as an escape.

It is true that the experience of LSD and mushrooms is a fleeting experience, but it is a different experience from the real world around us, and it is an experience that can only be touched by using these substances. In my opinion, we only live once in this world and it is a pity not to enter the mushroom universe at least once (of course, I emphasize again that it is very important to be mentally, psychologically and physically healthy, prepared and balanced). This experience has nothing to do with life goals and finding loved ones to live with.

Having done mushrooms a few times and having been a huge fan of Conan's for years, I don't think Conan would fare well on mushrooms. His imagination is overactive enough, I could see shrooms being a deeply unpleasant experience for him.
I hear you, I think he'd only do well in the right environment, really unwound, totally safe. Cameras off. I do a lot of mental processing and laughing and crying on shrooms, and everyone should have the freedom to feel or experience all forms of expression and emotions, without fear of observation or judgment.

Psychedelics in Vegas can be pretty intense 'cause you're always five feet away from someone who just lost everything and its having an absolute meltdown. Booze is Vegas' vice of choice and the vibe is way too aggro for psychs.

Listen, If your a smart person doing a psychedelic is incredibly beneficial! The good you get out of it is so much greater if your intelligent enough to gain from it and understand what you went through and what you learned. Retaining the knowledge you get during the trip is the hardest part, if your smart it’s easier to make sense of it and retain what you have learned. Quiet darkness, take them and sit in meditation in a quiet dark place.

Doing the right drugs for the right reasons is a good start. If you're trying to suppress trauma it's not likely to end very well. That's vastly different from smoking weed or doing psychedelics once a year.
The word "drugs" is practically useless. Mushrooms have absolutely nothing in common with whatever you're in rehab for. They expand your consciousness and shine a light on the things you've been hiding from yourself so you can deal with them.
