60 Minute CHAIR EXERCISES for SENIORS 💗 | Full Body Workout at Home

  • This 60 minute chair exercise program for seniors covers gentle range of motion exercises, basic strength exercises, cardio, balance, core work, and finishes with stretching. This is a full body workout you can follow at home. The entire class is done from a chair. It is optional to use weights for the strength portion and if you can, I highly recommend using them.
    I purposely haven't put music in this video simply because we are all different and I wanted to give you the option to listen to your own music. Put music on in the background that motivates you if you wish to have music on.

    I love this 60-minute workout much more than the shorter videos. I feel I needed to work more on my whole body. I am 72 years old. Although it's an easy workout for now, if i am consistent, i should see some results. This is much safer than at the gym.

    I broke a bone in my leg and am now in a boot for several months. These exercises are excellent to use as I recover! Thank you! I appreciate the longer sessions.

    did this class again this morning as am in a plaster non weight baring on foot, so sore back, shoulders etc., hit the spots beautifully, love the way you instruct thank you Jules.

    I had 2 busy away-from-home days, and did 1/2 of this routine the 1st day and the other the next. I found these exercises comprehensive, extremely effective, and easily adaptable to enable me to challenge myself with many of the moves.       @@ImprovedHealth Coincidentally, a friend was given exercises by her dentist for TMJ. The shoulders back/squeeze is one of them so guess who I shared it with? She'll be more likely to do the move with your guidance. It's always more fun to exercise with a friend!

    I love your workout videos and have seen myself progress more than I really believed I would. Love the longer videos. I can also stand some now, much to my surprise so once in a while I stand. Thank you so much for caring about us. I have gone from not exercising to keeping a routine to really coming around to love it again (many moons ago when I was in the Army I was a runner/general fitness enthusiast and loved it but I got out in 1995!) Also loved the music not being on because I like to play my own music. But truly thank you so much and keep those longer videos coming!

    Great Workout. Hurt my lower leg and feel I had a wonderful workout. Will do this again. I like the calm easy to follow workout. I didn’t know I could get cardio going sitting in chair but I did.

      You can definitely do this exercise program first thing in the morning. In regards to choosing a program that is ONLY stretching, my routines are fairly gentle so they should be fine to do. I'd suggest gently swinging your arms back and forth and walking on the spot for a minute first and then do the stretches.

    I have a tendasy to bounce/hop when i move do you have any advice how i can stop that like any exercises i ahould do

      I'm assuming you're meaning when we're walking/marching? Possibly slow the pace down, or rest your arms at your sides when we're walking so you just focus on the legs.

      Hi Kim, thank you SO much for letting me know. I always choose to turn the ads off. I didn't realize I hadn't unclicked it (and no one else mentioned it).
