- Paracord Wrap with Lanyard Tutorial
In this Video I will show how to tie my favorite paracord wrap. The cool thing about this set up is it has a Lanyard and can be taken off in under 5 seconds.

Very good tutorial.Great addition to the EVO . The EVO is a 10 you made it an 11
Thanks Mark! Looks awesome!
Thanks brother.
Thank you for teaching me how to do this now hopefully. I'll try it this week on one of my slingshot I made.
Just love this guy 🤩
My dog!👍👍
Great video, very useful, especially like the palm swell.
Thanks bud👍🏻
Thanks man.
Thanks a lot. Made my first ever wrap, worked out pretty good... ✌️
Cool man. I am thinking about doing another video with a different wrap.
This video was right on time! I was just looking for a method for wrap for my Torque and this will be perfect! Thanks brother!👊
You got it bro. Let me know how you like it.
Great video just getting into paracord handle wraps myself,I've got to try this one
I think you will like it. The best thing is if you want to take it off, this one will come off in seconds.
Great vid a very tidy wrap that.
Thanks brother
Nicely done!!!
Thanks man
👏👍 really awesome tip! thks
Thanks man
Excellent wrap tutorial mate, Thank you so much for doing it👊👏👍
No problem Kevin let me know if you want to see some more. If there is enough interest I will do them.
@@ATOMark people are always wrapping up the evo's so I could see people wanting to try out different styles mate 👊
Thank you for showing how to wrap 👍
My pleasure brother. I may do a few more if you guys are interested.
@@ATOMark definitely 👍
Your tutorial on how to is very helpful and I'm sure for many that need that extra none slip security on their palms will use this technique with different colors of cord and with leather laces also as i have . Great Job, Peace.
Thanks Juan. There are many different ways to do this with so many material options. It is fun to experiment. Thanks for the comment
well , i am now gonna have to have a go at this wrap on my new evo , thanks again for the tutorial mate
My pleasure man.
Great idea looks good also
Give it a try. I think you will like it.
Looks great
Thanks brother!
Bro I got to try this thx for the tip. The video is 🔥🔥
Thanks brother.
Gonna try this on my outlaw ttf , should fill my palm swell lovely, great vid .
Thanks man. It is a great way to ass some comfort to flat frames.
Awesome bro
Awesome tutorial brother! Thanks for taking the time to do this
My pleasure buddy.
@I z hahah your funny Izzy.
Yoy are the one that rocks bro! I feel like I owe you a beer for making you look at my ugly mug for 15 minutes a week. 🤣
Thank you, will get me some paracord and try this! 😁
Let me know if you want to see some others?
@@ATOMark will try this one out first, thanks for the awesome content I checked ur vids about pouch release and it helped me alot ✅
@@nOObels1 thanks so much for the feedback man. I really appreciate it. I hope you will stick around.
I like this guy Always doing good videos
Thanks man I appreciate it.
Awesome! Gonna give this a go on a couple of frames. Cheers man!
Oh cool I have used in on my uniphoxx and evo so far and it makes a big difference
@@ATOMark Nice! I'll be trying out different ways to wrap my Torque frame tonight. Have you tried paracording that shape before?
@@slingdemon2747 no not yet but I should. That frame is a little slick.
This is just what i was looking for i just got an Evo v2 can't wait to attempt this I will be happy if mine looks half as good as this.
Thanks for the upload mate glad I found your channel. just started shooting catapults and learnt so much from you
Usually it starts out loose and crappy, but somehow, it just comes together in the end.
thanks for this great tutorial my friend🙏😊👍
Thanks for watching brother. I hope you are doing well.
Nice and useful tip
Thanks bro
Very nice Mark! When my wife is knitting tonight I can play with cord too! Will make a nice finish for a flat frame. Thanks!
Do you shoot an evo aswell?
@@ATOMark Afraid not. All my frames are homemade wooden. Got a lot of leftover ash and that makes nice, strong frames. Got some good quality plywood leftovers as well so I thought to try some flat frames with your paracord wrap. Going to try and set up a slingshot field course out back for the whole family this summer if things open up. Will need quite a few slingshots for that if they don't want to share! Sounds like you really like the EVO. Nice texturing on the handle.
@@edmcgugan2079 I am a big fan of the evo. I hust wish the fork width was a little smaller. 90 or 85 would fit my anchor point better. Overall it is a near perfect frame for me.
looks nice pal 👍
Thanks man
excellent!
Thanks!
I want a frame like that I think it is the best looking frame that Iv seen
Check out catty shack catapults. It's called the EVO. There is also a EVO field pro edition with clips.
Great tutorial Mark....explained and executed like noone else can do👏👏....well done
Glad you enjoyed it. Let me know if you would be interested in seeing some others.
@@ATOMark thanks bro.....will probably buy an Evo.....so your tutorial was good timing....I deliberately don't buy many slingers.....can screw up form in my opinion 🤙🤙
Very true but if you stick to the same fork widths you should be fine.
@@ATOMark AND that's also very true bro🤙...having said that I got an LBS having been using the GZK Hammer grip.....(same fork width)... different hold.....it didn't suit me....now I'm kinda off with the GZK...
Looks too fiddly for me, but it is a nice job when it's done, great video buddy.
Thanks man.
👏👏👏
If that Evo smacks you in the face, you're dead, lol.
Great video!
ty sir
My pleasure man
Look good. I wonder if there is two color Slingshot wrapping.
I'm sure there is.
My daughter just spent an hour watching this vid and putting a paracord wrap and lanyard on her flashlight. It looks good but she hasn't realised she will need to unrap it to replace her batteries lol. She's trying it out on her Harry potter wand as I type this 👍
Awesome! Lol she will be wrapping everything in the house. 🤣
Yeah I know lol
Nice wrap 👍
Looks like You have one fork hit 😮
There are 3. I was just being an idiot trying to throw something in the air, load my pouch and shoot it before it hits the ground. 🙄
@@ATOMark I'm going to try aerial shots next summer, but perhaps with some other frame. I guess we have same thumb down fan 😊
@@KalevalaSlingshot lol yup I wonder if it is the same person. I will give quick shooting a try again soon but with my sparrow. If I mess that one up too much to shoot it not so big of a deal I carved one that shoots better for me any way. Lol
I frame hit my evo just being stupid. I was throwing a can in the air trying to load the pouch and shoot it before it hit the ground. Big fat nope! 3 frame hits in a row.
Ya only 3. My hammer pro has taken an ass whoopin though. I am looking to buy the 3rd handle for it now. This time it will be a resin handle. One hit with a wood handle and its done.
Roughly what sort of length of cord did you use? I have the same slingshot and it does need this mod.
Muito bom parabéns 👏👏, teria o link de onde você comprou o estilingue?

@@ATOMark obrigado
HI WHAT SIZE TAPER ARE YOUR BANDS PLEASE? I JUST GOT MY EVO AND NOT SURE WHAT SIZE BANDS TO USE THANK YOU
I cant remember but it is either 24-12 or 25-15
I have always wanted an evo but I can’t get it shipped to America how did you get one?
Why not they ship word wide.
I live in Canada and had it shipped no problem.
Hi bud, what is the diameter of the paracord you use? Also great videos on your site.
Thanks man. I used standard 550 paracord. Not sure what the diameter is.
I think it depends on hand size bigger the hand bigger the grip
out the rabbit hole round the tree and back down the rabbit hole , or a bowline knot
Yes sir I see we have another knot Nerd in the group. 🤓 its nice to know I am not alone. Lol
I find this so unbelievably difficult to pull off. Practice makes perfect I guess
It does seem a total mess in the first few rows but it does clean up as you go. But yes doing it a few times helps.
Nah nope I still can't do it. I'm useless at things like this I need to have really clear understanding of how to do it and all the tuck under n go round is very confusing I can't get it to make sense in my head.. I will keep watching n trying to understand but when theres too many things to do unless it's very clear I can't figure it out
It will take a little practice to get it right. It took me a few times to get the pattern down too.
shots better without wrap your holding like a catapult with straight fork tips
I prefer it with the wrap. I do point a little forward a little when I shoot this frame keeping my wrist straight.
@@ATOMark I point the top fork forward a bit two but have my wrist a lot more straightened than you. in your vids I see you holding the evo the same way as your other catapults with flat tips. The bands on the evo should sit flat on the tips but this becomes harder to achieve when You wrap it and increases the chance of hitting my hand as I have my wrist a lot straighter than you
I’m no expert tho so I could be wrong. Love your videos keep them coming 👍🏻
@@billbob7170 no worries man I'm far from an expert. Really what accuracy comes down to is what the individual shooter and repeat over and over. To me slingshots are like shoes I wear size 10.5 but I find New Balance fits better than Nike. Another runner may be different. If you are getting good results doing what you do just keep doing it. I am glad you are enjoying the videos brother. Stop in any time
