As a med student, I’ll just say that someone with a sprained knee should not be playing in general, let alone in a game as intense and high level as the playoffs. The amount of pain he was possibly dealing with to have that injury and still play almost the entirety of the game is crazy to me. Also having injuries in weight bearing joints like knee joints and ankle joints means that you’re unable to shift your entire weight on them (which is required to generate the proper thrust needed to shoot the ball) thus explaining the drastic decrease in shot efficiency when compared to how Luka usually shoots.
Haters will always find a reason to hate. Last season it was his lack of defensive effort. Now in the playoffs that he’s fixed his defensive effort, they blame it on his bad efficiency. Luka cant win he’ll always have something the haters will point out.
To not mention Derrick Jones Jr is blasphemous for the Defense. He was the heart of the defense for the MAVS. Only people who know this are ones who watch the game.

Lively and gafford will play more minutes. D Jones and pj can spread the floor like maxi with 3s (and can attack close outs better)
