Iv been buying royal mint almost exclusively for the last year. The premiums on eagles are outrageous and the British coins have better designs .
British Silver is growing in popularity with both of my dealers. They used to be treated more like rounds. One thing I will say is that my dealer prefers them in roll of 20 or 25 due to Florida State Sales tax laws.
I was very against stacking any quantity over 10oz, but I now desire the Britannia 100oz bar…🙈🙈🙈

BRITANNIA's, BRITANNIA's, BRITANNIA's!!! Without question Britannia Bars are the most beautiful Silver Bars out here. All the Britannia coins/bars are gorgeous and the 1 oz coins are very reasonably priced vs all other 1 oz Silver and Gold sovereign coins. Most times they are even priced the same or lower than 1 oz generic Silver Rounds so DO JUMP on getting these if your a serious stacker. Great foundational coin to stack. Its my go to coin when I want to get the BEST bang for my money. Like you I wanted to pull the trigger last week on Britannia Bars when Silver spot hit $21.50 but I missed it. 1, 10 and 100 oz Britannia Bars are hard to find so if you want some you have to find a good dealer who routinely carries them so you can jump on them when they are in stock.

I saw a 10oz Britannia bar at my LCS and bought it. I got it at the end of July paid 280 for it. I think Silver was around $25 give or take. So worth it. Looks amazing.

I don't care that much about security features on 1 oz silver coins. I DO care about those security features on gold, which is why I've been buying the 1 oz gold britannias since the new design came out.

Most 100oz bars look like industrial garbage, but that’s one I would consider. I’m baffled at why the USM doesn’t have 10/100oz bars - we’d be cleaning them out monthly
I think its laws that say what they can and cant make. They can't just make whatever coin they want. Think it's the same with bars

You'll love it. If you put it in a capsule you'll love it more but the capsule will scratch up over time so maybe buy a pack of 5 and rotate out haha. I keep one in a capsule and have my other bars in the mint plastic.

Yes it is. If it comes back round next year (doubtful) I'll look to nab it. The RM may put out something as nice however so I may have another opportunity. At worst - I buy another Britannia behemoth next year and have 2!

The Britannia is indeed the best looking bar, even prettier than Lady Fortuna because it has cool armor and a trident. I have the 10oz Britannia, and along with the 10oz Beskar, they are my favorite. I hope they don't get milk spots!

I don't know if you have ever ordered directly from Royal Mint? I recently started and I'm amazed how fast they ship to New York state. My orders usually come in 4 or 5 days.
It was a bucket list item. I think i'll set a goal of 1 per year. Perhaps RCM and SMI bars in the mix.

inflation is so bad that I'm looking into this 100oz silver bar and the 10oz blind folded lady fortuna gold bullion.
Owning physical gold and silver is a great way to protect your other investments and avoid counter party risk during this 3 decades high period of high inflation. I commend your decision to consider it.

I still haven’t got the 10oz Britannia. I thought I was getting it from my JM last week, but it ended up that they lured us all in for the 10 ounce coin, and just oh sorry 🤷♂️, my wife told them that was a rookie mistake and a few other things. So we got the refund and bought Silver elsewhere.

Felt pretty good about my recent purchase of a few 10 oz silver Britannia bars, then I saw your 100 ounce bar. Plan on getting more of the 10 oz Britannia. They don't show up very often and not much time to dwell on purchasing. I patiently waited over a year as I didn't want to buy on the secondary market which gave me quality concerns and I was amazed at some of the asking prices on ebay.

Yeah i'm actually still buying it. Been doing better buying the BTC mining company stocks however as I know how to read stocks/charts better than space cadet money charts. I'm only buying $20 - $50 per week of ETH or BTC. My wife buys some LTC here and there but we are in it for the long haul. I'm presently down quite a bit on my Crypto this year. Still stings.
My question is where do you sell a bar that size? Will any dealer buy that? And will you get the same sell price on a large bar vs coins?
I am not sure what FS will say when he reply's, but I can say that my LCS will buy them anytime. (Even multiples)
As for what they pay, currently it is spot price. In the past, they would only do about -$1.00 to -$2.00 under spot for them. (depending on their inventory)
A few months ago, they would pay spot +$1.50 (when silver was a little harder to get) - There is almost a glut of silver out there now, and I think they will soon be paying under spot for them again.

No, because it’s too heavy. If you need, you can pack it by aluminium foil, and vacuum bag outside.

While some may dislike of the Queen on the Bullion Coins, she lends much instant validation and credibility to those coins. Everyone recognizes that visage whether they like her or not. If its is such a drawback, buy something else without her mug on it.

Typically no. Most of my bars are still sealed in the original mint plastic. The bars you see here minus the 100oz bar are used for most of my videos so yes - those stay out. They may begin to tarnish but that's ok for me. I'm keeping the bulk of my bars sealed.
Cool Bar! Word to the wise, that cardboard box will tarnish your bar. If you don’t care, that’s cool but I would put it in a PVC free plastic bag. Just my 2 cent piece

Bars in the UK are vulnerable to Capital Gains Tax. They make zero sense for UK taxpayers. Go UK bullion coins all the way, secondary market silver that doesn't have VAT charged, or something over 100 years old - again no VAT on antiques. The other option is premium numismatic's because of the VAT on silver the slightly increased premium on something like rhe Aussie Kookaburras is less as a percentage of the total compared to the potential numismatic upside. Happy to talk more if you want as I'm also in the UK.
Beautiful designs on the Britannia’s. I like the cast style bars because it has a more genuine look of silver in my opinion. What are your thoughts on buying Platinum and Palladium at these drastically reduced levels?

It’s available in Provident metals as of now. I just bought the 10 oz bars. I received a notification that the 100 oz bars are available this morning at 0755, I went ahead to purchase but it got sold so quick! They still have 10 oz bars available though.

90% is in short supply. Best prices I see are with Hero Bullion but its limited. Everyone is running out.
