    As a paraplegic that battery telemetry can be very handy. Having enough power to drive back to the house or to the car makes things easier.

    @jblaze725 Před rokem +1

    Great video. I do have a few questions; do you have any recommendations of 4s lipo batteries that would fit in the compartment? I am having huge problems finding the button to engage the gyro function. It feels like more of a hole on the side of the receiver than a button. Is this correct? Also what is the easiest way to convert the telemetry cable to ec5?

    • @AdventureTimeRC
      @AdventureTimeRC  Před rokem +2

      I use 2s in the radio they fit easily and last a long time it should be the same button you used for binding and if you need a ec adapter you can solider one together or if you have a hobby store close by you they would probably be able to make one for you

    • @jblaze725
      @jblaze725 Před rokem

      @@AdventureTimeRC Thank you for the help. Other than longer run times is there any advantages to using 4s vs 2s, for example range or anything else? Also my issue with the button is it almost doesn’t seem to be there. If I try to press it with an Allen key it stops at one point and goes in very deep angled slightly different. Doesn’t really seem to press a button though. I did manage to hit it one time as the light went blue but couldn’t recreate that. I’m thinking my button may have been damaged.

    @ShenRC Před 2 lety +1

    Good to see 30 model memory now. a couple things I did not like on my radiolink radios that I told them about is the steering trim button should be the button on the top of the steering wheel and the steering duel rate should be on a quick access button on the radio and you should not have to go into the menu to change steering duel rate like all other radios when racing you can't go into the menu to adjust the duel rate for the steering it needs to be externally on the outside of the radio. They could have fixed this but it looks like they did not and this to me is a big reason why not to get a radiolink radio.

    • @AdventureTimeRC
      @AdventureTimeRC  Před 2 lety +1

      Thank you for watching Steve you can assign dual rates to any switch on the radio including a 3 position switch for 3 different rates I really like this version it has even more features than the previous 2 but a radio is all about preference and you honest opinion is always welcome here 😀

    Great Video - I just got this transmitter and I am very new to the hobby. I have a question about the receiver, I have a Losi Mini T brushed, and although I was told it will work with my RC car I have my doubts. First, it seems I need an adapter for the telemetry as I have smaller ec2 connectors (radiolink has the XT60 connector) and I am not really sure where I would connect the "throttle" as I dont see anything else coming off of my Esc.. UGH anybody be able to point me to some info? I've tried radiolink already so might as well reach out to the community.

    • @AdventureTimeRC
      @AdventureTimeRC  Před rokem +2

      Are you trying to use the esc reciver combo that's on the mini t if so you will need a different esc like a hobby wing 1060 would work good

      @thiswontstop1 Před rokem

      @@AdventureTimeRC Thank you so much for responding! I was told specifically by radio link that my stock speed controller would work but I think they might be mistaking my model with the brushless version.
      I'm looking at the 1060 - would I just take a cable to where I put the jumper for the mode selection (forward/brake/reverse) to the radio link receiver to control the throttle?
      Sorry for the basic questions, very new here.
