  • What should you do if you have been disciplined and dismissed, but then immediately had your dismissal reversed because the manager concerned hadn’t followed company policy? In this video, Amy seeks legal advice about such a situation. She wants to leave her job with a settlement agreement and is currently off work due to depression and anxiety.
Since Amy has less than two year’s service with the company, she can’t claim constructive or unfair dismissal. So other potential claims are explored, including disability discrimination, whistleblowing, and breach of contract. The lawyer recommends that Amy’s next steps should be to make a Data Subject Access request and to raise a formal grievance.

hi i am in tribunal at the min, i had a statutory demand for £34,000 placed on me in retaliation for the tribunal claim i am suffering from anxiety and depression i am challenging my employment status so have not really been able to get any help i tried to communicate this with the judge but the judge didnt seem that interested when i tried to bring this up at the preliminary hearing so i dont know where i stand the employer wants everything off me but they say they hold no information on me even after a SAR so i am at a loss. there is potential, whistleblowing & discrimination. also employee rights. but as im trying to represent my self it is getting a bit to much.
