Sometimes the ball easy to read and when it come closer, the ball is so fast for body to response. The decision for what technique he uses, depends on the situation and who is the goalkeeper. Genius and master of freekick. I just hear from my friends but when I see all of his freekick goal just can say unbelievable. Pirlo, Ronaldo and my good players learn from him. All the freekick he made is not like ordinary freekick. Legend for me especially in freekick.

But he was better than this, too bad he spent his peak career at Lyon so many people didn't watch him play regularly (and they dominated more than modern day PSG, it tells a lot about that Lyon squad).

In eight seasons playing for Lyon 'the free-kick king' Juninho Pernambucano netted an impressive 100 goals. On top of that, a remarkable total of 44 were scored from direct free-kick strikes.
To put his record into further perspective, the Brazilian scored 76 free-kicks during his 20 year career, scoring for the likes of Vasco de Gama, Al-Ghrafa and his home-town club, Sport Club do Recife.
