    It seems like now that I have almost 20k on mine, it knows how I like to drive, it down shifts for me in normal now too, when I drop to sport it drops gears too, even at low or higher rpm’s. Can’t believe I might not get to tune it now.... Congrats on your tune! Love these cars!

    I emailed Lund and they basically recommended me to get the e85 tune on a stock car. They said it wouldn't be a huge difference with just the 93 tune since I'm stock. They recommended me wait till I get mods first then get the 93 tune since they charge for every revision. They said the e85 tune would really wake up the car though. Problem is e85 isn't everywhere.

    • @CanadianCruisin
      @CanadianCruisin  Před 3 lety +1

      That's the main reason I went just with 93 because we don't have much here with any kind of flex fuel. It might not bump up the power a big amount but the car definitely runs and feels like a whole new ride. I'll get the flex tune eventually and then I can give you a better idea between the two

      @@lobbyrobby as of now it's been really good. I thought that I had an issue in the very beginning and had to work with Ford Performance and it was discovered that it wasn't an issue. With the Ford Performance tune the car goes through a learning period which is 500 - 2000 miles. During this period you're rev limiter caps out between 5K - 6k RPMs. I wasn't aware of this when I got the tune add thought something was wrong. Even the dealership wasn't aware. After that break in period it now guess to about 7200 or 7400. The difference before and after is night and day. It really wakes up the car.

    The one thing about the Bama tune, it is lethargic in normal mode. I typically drive mine in Sport+ daily as I do know how to drive and that mode feels the best for daily driving. Wish it would remember the mode though. I did notice that after I did the tune, my gas mileage got much better when highway driving. Now remember, I have the autobahn here in Germany so I do open it up when I am on the autobahn. I noticed about a 4MPG increase while just cruising at about 75mph ish. I was highly impressed with that. Now that I've replaced the mufflers, the MPG's has gone down. That is only due to wanting to hear coyote sing. Oh, and I have a manual.

    Any reasons to get the jlt intake on a 2018+ car. Tons of people say the 18+ air box flows just as well as a cai. Plus with the lid you'll have lower temps while city driving. I have a 2020 6 speed. Once my warranty is up I want to run headers and a 91 tune. Unfortunately that's the best gas I have around me. I'm planning on staying with the factory air box. I might drop a better filter in it tho.

    • @CanadianCruisin
      @CanadianCruisin  Před 2 lety

      If your going headers I'd get it just for more air flow. It is still a larger flow into the engine even though not by much. For me I mostly drive normally since it's a daily vehicle so not worth the cash for performance in that case. But as soon as you put the power down or if your serious into racing then I'd upgrade for sure

      @@ajah3247 I'd take it somewhere else. Suspension and exhaust definitely don't void your warranty. Exhaust only if you do headers. Even a cold air intake won't void anything if you don't need a tune.

      @@CanadianCruisin hay bro thanks for all the info. I added the wheel spacers- any tips for more safety ? Do you think I can go over 220 ? And how much should I take care on turns ? What are the things not to do?

      @@ajah3247 I've had mine over 220. Raced it on the dragstrip and took some pretty fast corners. It should all be good. Just check them once in a while and make sure nothing is loose or broken and it will be all good to go.

    So much talk about gearing... including the tune, etc. It's a muscle car, why didn't you get a stick? Total control over everything, no issues with it deciding on the right gear cause you do it! Auto, boring.
