Close it in! With a piece of glass, plexiglass or decorative stained glass window panel, yes :)
I like that idea!
This is exactly what I was thinking
Love this idea!
Love that idea! Still get the light!
Close it in with glass!
Recommendations: place the sink in front of the window which opens up the bar for eating and food prep.
Also, the bathroom has to be enclosed!!!
Yes! Food prep. That’s what you use an island for!
Glass at the top of the bathroom wall.
Sink under window, close bathroom off is my suggestion too. It’s a beautiful home.
Good design, but I second these recommendations. I also don't like the door in the bedroom. It takes up useable wall space. Roll-in shower option also needed with 36" interior door options.
@@kimmy1776 How would you get a bed into that bedroom otherwise? It seems like it would be difficult to get a couch or a bed through the front door because it opens into a hallway and the turn would be too sharp to make with large furniture.
Yes Randy! We’re scared of the bathroom smells and sounds! 😂Close it in!
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Glass at the top of the wall would close it in without losing all that gorgeous natural light! (Might need to add an electric wall panel heater in the bathroom for heat in the winter if there is glass at the top of the wall.)
Give the option to close the top of the wall in the bathroom, and option of where to put the sink. 👍😊
@@susanbeals7597that's a great idea... Plexiglass even neither would cost much to install on ones own. Since some like the bathroom open and others don't. ... I'm a don't lol.
@@karliechardi2229 - YES!
I agree, sink under window and leave Island open for eating and prep. It is a beautiful home.
Yes the island is made for eating who wants to seat around the sink.
I agree with the individual that said to enclose it with glass or Plexiglass. It is beautiful and I wouldn’t change a thing!
Love you guys!!
I just stayed in a VRBO that had the kitchen set up just like your tiny home. It was nice because there was so much counter space. Plus I'm always cleaning up while guests are in the other room. I liked how the sink faced the living area.
I really love the open ceilings but I do agree if more than 1 person is in the home it's going to be strange when using the bathroom. 🤔
Beautiful home. Replace the bedroom door with a small slider or French door for access to a deck
That's a great idea! Then you don't have to have a large deck in the front.
Or, the open areas could have frosted glass in those areas
The bathroom definitely needs to be enclosed. Love the Amanda. It's a beautiful home.
This is a beautiful home. I have an open concept timber design home (full size) and we have some wasted space which is even more critical in a tiny home. Perhaps add some storage space to close in that bathroom/kitchen junction to buffer the sounds (💩) and odors.
I love having a door in my bedroom when my dog wants to go out in the middle of the night.
I agree!!!❤❤
Right, I thought the same thing!!
I like the idea of a glass partition above the bathroom. It would prevent the smells from entering the kitchen....however I would used frosted glass panels mixed with regular glass...or panels of stained glass mixed with regular glass ( sort of like Frank Lloyd Wright).... It would look amazing
my thot too. let the light in but close it off.
What a fantastic idea putting glass as a wall between the bathroom and kitchen. Randy you are such a great designer. Have a wonderful evening. God Bless.
Much better than a wood ceiling.
Of the 3 upper windows on both sides, (the ones above the bathroom) have the middle window open outward with a screen for cross ventilation. Have some kind of bar that you can attach to the lever to open it up.
Put the tankless in the smaller closet in the bathroom. This makes the bedroom closet more useful, so you can have two rods full of clothes, and shelves on the bottom or top.
Hey! When are y’all gonna build an ACE?!?!?!
Is the Ace going to be big, active & messy, like him? Or make sure there's room for a large dog?
My vote is to close the bathroom in.
The open bathroom isn’t just about the bathroom noises…but for me more about the smells!!! It’s already a small space and then bathroom smells??…and with the “great air flow” it will flow throughout that tiny home 🤢…no thank you, close it in…Randy your a genius, glass to enclose the bathroom would be amazing!!!😊
How about adding a sliding glass window to keep all the natural lights in the bathroom and slide it open to have airflow as desired? Also, I am with those who prefer the sink by the window and have an entire island that can seat four plus small storage in the bottom.
Thank you for clarifying the size. It is gorgeous. Like everyone else, I think the bathroom does need closed off for obvious reasons lol. I love the name and agree it fits Amanda’s larger than life personality. It would be gorgeous sitting in the woods.
Enclosed water closet with opening window for the toilet, kitchen sink under the window and peninsula facing the living room instead of the island...perfection!
There is an exhaust fan right above the toilet.
Frosted Glass between the kitchen and bathroom wall.
Ya I think the sink overtook the island.
@@susanbeals7597women do not like that.
@@his4evr2cgreat idea.
Love the etched glass idea.
I have a suggestion regarding the restroom......Switch the sink and commode and then build a ceiling and walls around the toilet. Make a toilet closet. That would enclose the "issue". I love you guys. Keep on keeping on!!
That is a great idea.
A small toilet 🚽 room w shelving over the top all the way to ceiling.
I think a patio door in the bedroom would be more appropriate than a mandoor
I realize this is the first one built. I love the fact you guys listen to perspective customers on suggestions for possible improvements/changes.
Based on where the Stove is Going your Sink is closer then the Prep Area to it, so make the Sink under the window an option letting you have an island for prep (So you can see people and the TV while your Prepping your Dinner, not scrubbing dishes after) Chuckle... I would definitely recommend Sealing the Bathroom off as an option, cuz lets be honest, people get sick in a variety of ways and you may not want the sound or the smell drifting straight into your kitchen.
I liked the Amanda but I wish the sink was under the window and the center open then you could put a movable island in the center or put a bar between the living area and kitchen for a u-shaped kitchen.
Definitely close the opening between the bathroom and kitchen.
So glad Amanda is back
Amanda, that is such a beautiful home. I 💯 % agree to close the bathroom off. Odors do travel. I would not do a wall, but an extra window at the top.
Love that there is a house named after Amanda too! Love the idea of glass to partition the wall. The design is beautiful. Love the island.
Yes, utilize glass or plexi-glass to close the bathroom off. The sun light & open feel will still be the benefit.
I love the glass solution. Perfect❤❤
Both Amanda's are beautiful ❤ thank you for this video showing the very first time that Amanda sees it! I can't wait for the deco debut- love ya'll ❤❤❤
I like the idea of using etched glass to separate the kitchen from the bathroom. Absolutely agree there needs to be separation, but I love the design.
I like the natural light that comes in.
Love the light, love that my back wouldn’t face others at the sink.Tub is beautiful too 🎉
Randy I hope you see this.
Flip the bathroom layout. Put the toilet where the tub is and you can enclose the throne with a small slider door while keeping the overall light and openness. Maybe give it a ventilation window while you are at it.
Definitely, close it in!
I'd close in the bathroom wall for sure, its not just the sound it's the smell that would worry me.
( Would have to have a window that could be opened easily in there along with a fan. )
I love that back door which would allow for a rear porch? Sunday morning coffee on rear porch ?
☕😁
Re: the open space in Bathroom- I’m with Amanda. What about glass blocks?
That would be so pretty
😊 It is really beautiful, Amanda! This old lady (me👋🏻) bought a one bedroom apartment in Oak Park, Illinois, in a one hundred years old building, 11 years ago bank owned , cash only, for $59,900.00 Dollars… I feel soOooo blessed! 🙏🏻 God bless you, guys! So many people are having their dream, thanks to your wonderful job!
I would close in the bathroom. Smells and sounds. You can keep that 3rd window by putting a "shelf" up there with glass facing into the living room to keep the light and people can put their plants up there that like that shower steam and sunlight. I would also offer a walk in shower vs a bathtub option.
Add a sliding glass door onto the bathtub and add a shower nozzle. I have had that for yrs so you can take a bath or shower with one area.
Yes walk in shower is a great option 🎉
I love this house but I would put the sink under the window and use the island as a prep area and if you are going to eat there you have room for serving dishes. Will a shower be an option for buyers (seniors). In the bathroom wall all the way up so guest are not run out of the house. Top notch job!
Yes, a walk-in/roll-in shower, instead of a tub, as an option.
I’d close it in with glass.
I like the openness, however, smells from the bathroom might fet offensive in the rest of the house.
You named it RIGHT, ... because The "AMANDA" is a Beautiful home !!!!!! Keeping the fist one on the mountain is a HUGE PLUS, !!!
I absolutely really love the layout of this place. I wouldn't change a thing about it.
Please close it in! But I LOOOOOOOOOVUH this home!!!
Bathroom should be enclosed not only for noise but oder ventilation fan or window would help including steam from shower
There is already an exhaust fan above the toilet (next to the shower).
@@susanbeals7597ewww. No. That is nasty.
@@iampatricemeeks9512 - ???
I love it!!! Go Amanda homes! Love all the light. Love a large bedroom. Love the large kitchen. I'd make the island movable and put the sink at the window. Best wishes on many sales!
Love, love, love, the Amanda!!! I’m with Randy, leave it open…. give the option of keeping the sink where it is, or move it in front of the window and now they have an island to prep on and sit around…, hope to see you at the Strawberry Festival…..,😁
Thats like having an open door bathroom. Itd be like the latrine in your kitchen. Ruins appetites imho. Almost 38 yrs married to that smell. Icky.
YOU DON'T KNOW MY FAMILY, CLOSE IT!!😂😂 LOVE THE AMANDA
Love It Amanda and love you Amanda and Randy ❤
I like the sink under the window on the long counter. Keep the island for seating and prep work. Close the wall in the bathroom. Also, the toilet is too close to the vanity a larger person is going to be touching the vanity when they sit down.
Love it! I prefer the sink under the window, close the bathroom and keep the door in the bedroom! Very nice ❤
Hi guys! I LOVE the Amanda. It is beautiful. The perfect Amanda for me would have the following changes.
1. Yes, close off the wall in the bathroom. Amanda is right, you want to sell the house. Putting glass in the bathroom would be a great idea.
2. Have a loft. (Guest room and crafting space are important for me. On second thought, I could add a small room/enclosed patio off that bedroom. (Similar to what Gloria did)
3. Have drawers/storage in the bathroom under the stairs.
4. Move the sink, but keep the center island with the plug-in.
5. Extend the counter to match the end of the center island (I would then put in a dishwasher)
Great ideas! For me, personally, a dishwasher is a must even if it's just a little one.
I would rather have a drop in oven/ range top than a dishwasher
We all love Amanda❤❤❤❤
Yes, please enclose the bathroom. And thank you for asking and listening! ♥️
I would close the bathroom, and flip it so the bathroom opens to the bedroom only, like a suite. I don’t entertain, so I don’t have to worry about having a convenient entrance for guests.
Great idea.
The Amanda is beautiful. I think you’re going to have a lot of success with this model. The only 2 things I would consider changing are the sink placement and the bathroom wall.
Love the openess and light BUT if I were mine, I would have the bathroom closed in and the etched glass idea is WONDERFUL! I also LOVE the sink where it is...this house is so beautiful!!
I love the etched glass partition idea. Randy, you are an ingenious heart throb. You are lucky to have Amanda. Love you both!
I love this model house btw! Single level and a bath! It's a shame I'm not in America or I'd love to get one of these ❤
Etched glass sounds amazing esp. for the mountain site
1. Close in bathroom with plexiglass so allows in light and can be removable. 2. Back door optional. Singles may feel it’s not safe. 3. You should give the Amanda to Amanda! I’ll bring the sparkling juice. LOL
Nice yes but I do not like how the bathroom is open to the kitchen. I would have to put glass on the other wall so it was not open like that. But if you use glass you do not disturb the idea of light.
If you're going to close the bathroom in, I would use frosted glass or frosted glass blocks to keep the light flowing & the ripping sounds where they belong, Randy! 😂 This home is gorgeous!
That door in bedroom for them late night freak calls lol😅😂
Unbelievably gorgeous!! Having Amanda in the shot shows how large the space really is. Do the amish in Kentucky allow tours of your homes? It's closer to where I live.
So far they have not encouraged it so we don't
Hi,Amanda and Randy close it in.take second door out.
That’s as Beautiful as Amanda!!!❤️❤️❤️
Put glass or plexiglass in that opening then you’d keep the light! Beautiful home!
Very good idea!!!
Great idea!
YES
Yes! Perfect idea with etched glass to enclose bathroom and keep the light flowing through! Great minds, Randy and Amanda! A truly lovely and brilliant home for someone special!❤ I personally can't afford it, but I pray someone special buys it and takes care of this beautiful crafted home.
My dream is your 12 x 20 with a screened-in porch and graded ramp. I am handicapped and that is a perfect abode for my bucket list! Whether I make it their one day is my little prayer!
But I digress, the Amanda is absolutely a gem of one floor living!👏🫶
MaryAnn Davis, Albertville, Alabama.
P.S. Leave sink where it is located on the island. The long countertop is good for bread making!🍞🥐🥖🥨👌❤
What about a plexiglass up there in the bath.....love the light❤ OR build those small windows up there like the small windows in ceiling. Love the door in bedroom for a small coffee deck. Love this model!!!!!
What about Glass Blocks?
Recommend a glass sliding exterior door in the bedroom Since the current exterior door swings inward it takes up the interior floor space in the bedroom. Can you make the exterior door in the bedroom swing outwards?
I love the Amanda. It’s one of my choices.
Love etched glass idea. That would be beautiful ♥️
I love the island idea but I would move the sink under the window and build an island (without sink). I get the one level living but I would need to have a second bedroom
People want mansion at a tiny house price. That is unfair. You have to get what you can afford. There is a price suitable for almost everyone’s budget. That is Awesome. 👏
I would close the wall between the bathroom and the kitchen. Maybe put a vent/grate that could be opened or closed in that wall to eliminate sound when in use and opened to aid air flow when the bathroom is not being used. Is there a fan already installed in the bathroom to help deal with moisture from showers? Its a beautiful home, just like Amanda. You should be proud of it!
Close in the bathroom, so no one can hear me Tinkel or the smell going over the wall to the kitchen. Oh etched glass YEAH! !! BEAUTIFUL
I'm Sorry I've owned 5houses in my life time!! Two of them were built from the ground up. So I have experience. The island (without sink) would serve better with more room for stools to eat at. Open the bathroom ceiling on the bedroom side if worried about circulation. I think its a good price for the size.Amanda I'm so happy to see you girl.
I'd put in a sliding glass door or french doors in the bedroom instead of that door and then put a little back porch off the bedroom 😊
Yes, close the bathroom ceiling, but put a sunlight on see through surface above the tub to allow that sunlight to come in. The best of both worlds!!
Suggestions: Paint bay window, all window, door and base trim white, all walls white with only wood tone ceiling. Sink under window for sure. Paint gray electrical box white to camouflage it. Definitely enclose bathroom ceiling and center toilet more. Like the tub/shower. Eliminate door in bedroom for much needed wall space. Generally, I think most tiny homes have too many windows, not here though. Also, flooring for me would need to be more of brown tones as I don't like gray flooring. Love the one level living and nice closet space.
Put a window in the bathroom up above!!!!!! It would really look nice and easy to add!!!!!! Love it!!!!!
If necessary, close in the area in question with glass which will serve to muffle sound, block unwanted odors while still allowing light natural light .
I love it as it is, but could go either way. I love this home over all others.
Close it on the kitchen side and open on the bedroom side for the mini-split flow.
You would have a lot more space without that sink in the middle island and still keep the space for stools around the island .
I love the island. The entire house is beautiful. Perfect for an Amanda!
The Beautiful "Amanda"! Yah bless you all!
🏡🌷🌷🌷
I'm with Randy tho about the bathroom - I prefer it open!! It's beautiful. Who wants guests?? 🤣
I do like the bedroom door. Something, God forbid, were to ever happen, it's an easy quick exit.
The bathroom i like too... Although maybe some plexiglass to finish the wall upward... And make it like a sliding window. Then it's closed when you don't want to smell yourself or your guests lol, and open when the smells gone to let the air flow go through.❤
I would have the sink in front of the window. U shaped counters that you can put stools under. Might be able to get a table in there too Definitely close in the bath room. Love the tub.
"The Amanda" is AWESOME! regarding the kitchen: have 3 options, 1. sink in the island 2. sink under the window, no island 3. sink under the window with an island to prep n or eat at. Bathroom insulate the pony wall to minimize to sounds that the body generates in the bathroom. This thing is great!
A simple compromise for the bathroom could be to enclose that open space with a framed piece of frosted glass. Maintains the privacy of the bathroom while keeping the light flowing throughout.
Maybe glass between the kitchen and bathroom so u still have the light.
If you're a loud pooper and the whole place would stink lol
Put a screened in window, so it can be closed when guest are over and still get the natural light and airflow, when needed.
Question??? Why is water heater in bedroom and not the bathroom??
I would have to ask Randy that one or try emailing sales@incredibletinyhomes.com and get them to get you an answer for that
Please close it. Nobody needs to know what happens in there.
I love all the windows
Etched glass dividers are perfect.
And keep the island as a work bench & eating bar, put double sink at window.
How about a barn sink under the window. Enclosed the bathroom and to ate the hot water tank to the bathroom and closer to the kitchen. Nice home. Here's to many future sales.
I love Amanda..and the house!
