- These bacon cheese crackers are an easy Christmas Appetizer. You can make these ahead and reheat them for about 15 minutes before serving. All you're doing is putting a little bit of cheese on a Club cracker (or your favorite cracker) and wrapping it with half a slice of bacon and baking in a 250º oven for ABOUT 2 HOURS. Keep an eye on them. You can adjust as needed, but definitely do not go over 2 hours.

Haha I'm not a fan of the burnt ones, but they didn't go to waste. I wound up putting the overdone ones in a ziploc bag for my little dogs and gave them out as treats over several days. They loved them!

YES YOU CAN! And I have a bunch of blocks of cheese saved. It's not ideal for slicing into fresh slices when it's been frozen, but it's perfect for recipes where you are going to be melting the cheese anyway.
Actually i like the lower rack ones. I prefer well cooked bacon.
