I pour Liquid Nitrogen, Diethyl Ether, and Dry Ice into my pool! Can liquid nitrogen put out a fire? what about dry ice?

@Ryan Hughes I have mentioned this in other comments, but it's perfectly safe to do so, doesn't even feel all that cold. Handling dry ice is more dangerous, but as long as you don't hold onto it for more than a few seconds, nothing will happen.
Not all that hard as long as you keep the dry ice moving and minimize contact with your hands. I've done it before. Now I want some dry ice to make soda

I work in a medical clinic, and we occasionally get medicine packed in dry ice to keep it cold. I had a coworker pick up a piece of dry ice and hold it for a minute before quickly putting it down and going "It burns!", and I was like 'yeah, you think?'

Diethylether has a high vapor pressure. There won't be anything left after a couple of hours. The pool might be carbonated, but that will be fine after letting it sit for a couple of days.

I have an idea for an experiment: get a big concrete slab, away from any structures, pour water onto it, then pour molten aluminum onto it. My dad accidentally did it. A word to hey waist, please, stand back. FAR back.

+Ryan King No, like he said, the dry ice creates a blanket of carbon dioxide above the water. If you were to swim in it, you would suffocate from carbon dioxide on the surface of the pool.
+TheBackyardScientist but wouldn't the Nitrogen/Carbon Dioxide layer displace the oxygen over the pool? Especially if it's not well ventilated. You could avoid that by using liquid oxygen, though I'd avoid setting the pool on fire with Diethyl Ether.

It's more a matter of the camera was poised in the direction to capture both the fire and him on record. But the fire is so hot that it's picking up the fire and nothing else, I imagine.
Like how when you look at a fire through a camera, everything else gets darker.
