The Colourless life of Tsukuru tazaki is my first by Murakami and one of the favourites! I found it easy to read because it wasn't as confusing and didn't have magical realism. I enjoyed it very much because it dealt on the topic of friendship and how it could fade in time.
I live in California, and recently discovered this book store in L.A. called “Stories.” It’s so magical and quaint. It also has a coffee shop connected. If you ever get the chance to visit, definitely go there!

this was so great! I've always wanted to go to New York because I live about six hours away but I've never gone and it's great to see what the city looks like and what bookstores I can go to so thank you

I LOVED Cicely Mary Barker's flower fairies as a kid! I had a bindup of her works called A Flower Fairie's Treasury. I haven't thought about that book in ages and this inspired me to go dig it up. I used to flip through and pair up the fairies (pretty much shipping flower fairies together) : )

I know this is random. . . but how thick was your hair before you cut it? I am thinking of getting a pixie cut similar to yours, but my hair is REALLY thick and I am unsure whether or not that makes me unable to cut my hair like that.
My hair is not particularly thick or thin, but i have a LOT of it! my advice is to ask your hairdresser! if you show pics of what you like, they're usually able to say whether it will work for your hair :))
