If you want to see them “sing an instrument” watch their rendition of “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy”. A song without words sung by a band without instruments. And the editing is amazing. They won their second Grammy for it.

Yes to both. As a testament to how wonderful this group is and to their talent, not just musically but with their arrangements as well, I'd suggest "12 Days of Christmas" and "Little Drummer Boy." You can save them for next holiday season if you like. Neither song was a favorite of mine. In fact, I'd skip those tracks on albums because the lack of appeal was so utter and complete. Until the Pentatonix version...now they're playlist items. I'd also suggest "Hallelujah," "Sound of Silence," "Say Something..." Come to think of it just pick anything by Pentatonix. None of it's bad! LOL

Hip Hop eh? I suggest you react to PTX version of Macklemore's 'Can't Hold Us' next, it is upbeat and amazing. Then try Hallelujah (Cohen), Sound of Silence (Simon and Garfunkle), Imagine (Lennon), Gold (Kiara), Amazing Grace, Mary Did You Know, etc. Do the occasional PTX and your fan base will grow substantially as a result. Mitch (lead singer in this song) and Scott (tall blonde) have a separate group called Superfruit. Once again, hip hop, try their version of Anti Medley (Rihanna), I'm Feeling Myself (Minaj) or Hip Hop Goes Broadway I and II. The woman is named Kirstin and has a beautiful voice; she leads in Say Something (Aguilera) and Be My Eyes (PTX). The bass is Avi; he left the group and was replaced by Matt. Both are extremely talented with different and beautiful voices. The beatboxer is Kevin and he is probably the most singular talented individual you may every experience; he plays cello, beatboxes, plays saxophone, speaks fluent Chinese and much more. React to his solo version of Down (Hill). Scott the tall blonde is extremely versatile; check out his solo of 'I Should Tell Ya Momma On Ya' (Red).

Not to forget their original songs just to really shake up the mood on occasion 'Run to you' and 'Love Again' - the Bass (or Basso Profundo to be accurate) in this is Avi Kaplan - he was the original Bass with Kevin the Beat Boxer who gave the richness of the low notes here - Scott (the tall blonde) is also a Baritone and would swap out with Avi on occasion when Avi was singing in his higher register. Matt is the new Bass in the group (there was an amicable spilt a few years ago). Avi does have his own music now - which is awesome too

Please mooooooore PTX!! Doesn’t matter what order. Side note: Avi (bass dude) left in 2017 and replaced with Matt (black bass dude) so don’t be alarmed with different people. It’s only one person changing. Mitch & Kitstie are chameleons 🤣. .

    I’m your newest subscriber!
You absolutely cannot go wrong with ANYTHING by Pentatonix! They are, [in my humble opinion] 1 of the current Top 4 Acapella Groups in the world.
I’m a 69-year-old, now inactive 54-year Life Member, and 1987 International Chorus Champion [with the West Towns Chorus, as a Tenor] of the Barbershop Harmony Society. I also sang in quartets for over 20 years, finishing as high as 3rd Place in Illinois District competitions.
So, I’m a huge fan of most forms of Acapella - from; Barbershop Quartets & Choruses (of course), to what I consider to be 3 of the current Top 4 Acapella Groups in the world; Pentatonix, Home Free, and VoicePlay. To college groups like BYU’s Vocal Point, and Noteworthy. To Multi-trackers like Sam Robson and Danny Fong. Plus, groups like; Take 6, The Real Group, Singers Unlimited, and so many others - including what in my humble opinion is - THE Greatest Acapella Group of All-Time on the Planet - VOCTAVE!
That said, you can expect a lot of suggestions for reactions to many of these groups from me. And I look forward to introducing you to a lot more Acapella Music in the future.
But first, allow me to highlight more of the talents of the Pentatonix Beatboxer/occasional Cellist - Kevin Olusola with the following 2 CZcams videos.
#1 - Here he is [as Renee G mentioned in reply to Jay C] in 2005 at age 17 on the TV show, “From the Top: Live from Carnegie Hall” playing the Saxophone:
    czcams.com/video/cg-WQl3YCVY/video.html
#2 - I also used to introduce Kevin with his video of “Down.” But, how about reacting to Kevin’s video of “Sign of the Times?” It too will blow you away with his talents:

Welcome from one of the many Pentaholics! We love watching new people witness how awesome this group is and sharing our passion.
You touched on so many great points. Pentatonix's approach to music is so refreshing, combining intelligence and simplicity to make really impressive, expansive music with five voices (and occasionally some accompanying voices or instruments).
Their videos are also super on point! They are always big, either visually or emotionally or both. And over time they have continued to excel in making sure to highlight each artist's contribution to the songs, showing them singing the little flourishes they add individually while they sing as a group.
If you REALLY want a trip, check out one of their Evolution videos. This was back in the beginning, when it was just them and the couch they used to record videos on. Its recorded live in one take, just to highlight this is five voices! I recommend watching them in order of release to appreciate how much they grow as musicians.
