I went through a few of these (bought and returned). I found the quality of the (latest version) plastic OEM unit still the best. My main concern with these is the possibility of manufacturing debris stuck inside the unit which may not have been rinsed out internally well enough. Such debris would sit post the oil filter and from here on ready to enter the oil passages and all bearings with catastrophic results. That risk was just too high for me.
