- Hey Guys!
So I know it's Tuesday and I normally put new videos out on Saturday's but I missed last Saturday due to vacation, so I felt really guilty and wanted to put out a video anyway since I had it almost done. There will be another video out this Saturday, so be on the lookout for that!
But this project was really fun! I've had a definite thing for jute twine recently... It's like I"m looking for 101 ways to incorporate it into all my decor. This time with glue! I honestly felt like a little kid again while doing this. It brought back some serious paper mache vibes ;) All in all I'm so happy with how the pendant light shades turned out and it really wasn't that hard (aside from that evil third bouncy ball.....)
I hope you all have amazing weeks and I'll see you all on Saturday!!
Laters!

To avoid the frustration, don't pre soak the twine in glue water mixture. Just soak the first few inches.. then twine the ball, Then, apply the glue with a brush. Less messy and easier to wrap. Have a great day!
Thank you for the tip ❤️

Thank you for making this video! I watched it a while back and have finally been able to make this. I no longer feel like I'm under an interrogation light while eating my dinner. LOL!
I just found this again and am going to make it too. We feel the same way eating dinner lol.
They look great!!! I covered my dog’s eyes during the ball-popping part because she would have been sad like your cute pupper.

That was great loved the idea, but in my personal opinion I think that Edison lightbulbs would like fabulous with your DYI project
Man that looks so easy and good I love it.❤

I 💕 everything about this video. 🏆 I'm using ball pit balls for small string lights. I'll try your method as well 👌
Sweet results!

what kind of lights were the globes put on ? where did you purchase ?
My goodness your lights look AMAZING! Thankyou for this great video and the reality of making them. I can't wait to make mine oxox
Good job sweety. Cheap,easy, gorgeous
Awesome. I was just trying to figure a way to make use of broken mirrors and I thought of this project. I was thinking if I can create a string globe and afterwards hot glue some glass shards to cast some light around it might almost give the area a chandelier effect.
Rhoda Bruce That’s a great idea and I just happen to have broken a 5 foot tall mirror that goes on the back of a door bedroom and it’s all in one piece except for the top foot part so I didn’t want to throw it away I wanted to do something with it and I think you just gave me an excellent idea. thank you!
Oh gosh you made me laughed at the 4 minute time 😆😂😂 totally did not expected that.. love your results and thank you for the tip Im thinking of making one thanks for your video. and great job!
Love your background 😍

Super CUTE!!
Beautiful job!
I love what u made. But I have a question...I'm assuming u made that super cute rose thingy behind u. How can I make pne?
Those turned out beautifully! Do you have a video for the flower picture behind you? It's so pretty.
Do you have a video on how you did this background? It's very pretty!

Love the dog!
How cool ! Thankyou
Best diy pendant
Very nice!
Love it🥰
Thanks for your tutorial! I attempted this and it came out nice but I am noticing I have a lot of excess glue in between the twine. What is the best way to get rid of this?
I thought I heard her say use a toothbrush
LOL @ Sarah music montage! They turned out great! 👍 Luisa
And btw, so glad to see you cleaned away the visible glue remnants. Totally made my OCD flare when I saw other DIYers leave the glue showing in the openings of their string shades!! 😂😂
awesome sauce!
This is beautiful! You taught me something new with your creative mind and talented hands. You video was clear and easy to follow and captivating to watch. I make diy craft videos too. I’m thankful to learn so much from other creators like you. I hope we can continue to learn from each other!
Thank you for the tip of keeping the newspaper fresh... I wonder if plastic would work better we will see
Did you happen to make the flowery piece behind you?
😂😂😂😂 the insert clip!
Beautiful! I can't with the music tho. Lol
what was the ply of the twine you use or recommend?
Beautiful ❤❤ 😁 tyfs!
The music on the last ball was hilarious, but the overall project absolutely beautiful
Fantastic! How can I use this idea but for string lights?
I love this tutorial & you had me laughing with the line “he saw what happened to his brother’s” & when u added the heartbreaking words, sad song & slow motioned your dog sadly watching you pop those lovely balls 🤣
Btw I’m a former teacher & years ago I had an Asian mother show my class how to make Christmas ornaments very much like this, but of course ornaments for a tree aren’t as heavy. So; we used yarn, (round) ballon’s blown up small & medium sized & glue & we created these beautiful ornaments & then some students chose to roll the ballon with yarn around it soaked in glue into glitter. Others waited a few days & chose to paint the dry glued yarn ornaments with craft paint. I personally took mine home & spray painted my smaller sized ones with glitter white & my medium sized ones with bronze gold & they were beautiful on my tree for a few years. I believe they could have lasted longer, but as they were stored each year after Christmas apparently some were getting crushed & the shapes became very distorted. I’ve now learned to tell other’s to be sure to store them in a box or plastic container with only the yarn ornaments so nothing else will crush or squeeze them 😉
Wow beatiful lamp..thanks for your share video
Looks great but are they flammable?
Did you make those flowers on your wall?
Love this, going to try it for my country Brazilian house. Loved the doggo too ❤ I bet he was not pleased about his balls 😂😂😂
Thank you finally
Lovely.
These are so cute! Poor puppies though. :(
The strig pendants made the lights 200% better. Now when are you going to go out and buy some balls for your fur baby. You must make his heart 200% better! pets and hugs to the fur babies. Thank you for this video.
Hilarious as it was helpful!
Do you think I could attach one of these rope lights over my bathroom light fixture. I have the cheap 4 light bathroom fixture that comes with my townhouse?
Your dog is looking at you puncturing those balls with such a heartbroken face!! Pup wanted those balls! 😂
Thank you ❤great video
I wonder if you were to suspend the ball in the air from the ceiling with some wire and let it hang down in and then put the sticky string on that way.
So sweet how you honor your husband!
Very nice.
Job well done!
Wow great
Does this work with spray on adhesive?
Hey sweety that was the best video on the topic actually ✌️ and my hubby also encourages me for my art projects 😍 he's a darling.
Can I use thin consistency cement or plaster of paris, instead of glue. Actually I don't have glue right now, and I can't wait 😂
Just wondering why didn't you deflate the ball instead of puncturing it...
Pls guide me about the cement option. I'm waiting.
Much love 🌸
How much glue did you use for your project ? Could you have got away with less glue?
Love
Love it!❤
Formidable !!
Svp quel type de colle vous avez utilisé ?? Celle du papier ou de bois??
The finished product was worth the effort. Do they get real dusty?
OMG your dog ! Mine looks pretty close to yours. What kind of dog do you have?
Where can I buy the twine?
great. im about to do 3 smaller ones
Hello, can I use a balloon instead of the ball?
Battery powered lights?
*I was gonna say your dog is watching his toys deflate.* 😂
What size Jute Twine should we be Using?
Hate to sound stupid but there's so many sizes of jute. Which size is this one?
yep
I enjoyed your video :) Keep it up!
Name of the gum pls
it helped my daughter
would it work on a balloon and not a ball?
