Great tips. This is pretty much what I do...it's great! I go one more step and add a lighter white/vanilla color, just under the eyebrows. I have to say I really enjoy the music you choose.

Jill, first I want to say I too love the word “cripes”. Lol. And I do lol every time you say or type it! Beautiful look. I don’t wing my shadow. It doesn’t do anything for me. I just try to create more of a crease with subtle shades and blend up since I am fairly hooded. I am almost 64 and feel darker shades make my eyes look smaller. Yet I noticed how it made your eyes look bigger, right away. So I think I will try this ombré effect. And I am skiddish of blending shadow so far under my lower lash line as fear it will drag my eyes down. I have been using a soft hue pencil only 1/3 to 1/2 from the outer corner which connects the top lash line and adds some definition. But I do like the look you created. I have a brush like the one you used…so what the heck…I will try a shadow and extend it further. Can’t hurt to play. Can always wash it off if I am not feeling the look, right? Practicing will also be helpful I am sure!
Haha....my mom said Cripes a lot. ;) YES just give it a try....and if you don't like it you can easily fix it. I like a soft under lashline look, but that's just my personal preference. I think when it's soft it does open the eye.
Hi Jill! I never attempt a smoky look because my eyes are small and was afraid it would make my eyes appear even smaller…not so! Just finished following along with you and I am really happy with the result, thank you! I definitely will re-create this look again!

I am trying to do the smog etc, so I intend to sit with my laptop and proceed step by step. Not use to that wig color on you, love you better in the brighter blood. Also love your practice tips. pain free would be great.

What brush set do you recommend? Beautiful look!
Gosh, They have some of the nicest brushes out there....truly, I have been so impressed. You really can't go wrong with any of them. I guess you'll need to decide if you want mostly brushes for the eyes, or a nice blend of face and eyes. I use them all and haven't been disappointed yet.
Nice! I bought an elf primer and it was an amber color. I do like it for when I do not want to do shadow colors. Do you recommend a light eye shadow primer better for this technique? Thank you 🙏
