Heard of using eyeshadow as contour, but would never have thought of using as blush. You look so fresh and pretty! I have been wanting a new blush in a peachy nude shade but have not found exactly what I want. So going to check my eyeshadow palettes to see what I can create!

Jill, I do my contouring with my Joan Rivers root powder, no sheen, and holds for most of the day. :)
Hi Becky! I have been experimenting using root powder in my eyebrows. I also have been wanting to try brow powder (not root powder) around my lips. We'll see how that goes! GREAT idea! Thanks for sharing! ❤

Great lessons learned here. I love what you did with your cheeks the contour & blush combination and technique are fabulous! Also the contouring of your lips & what can I say about that little added bonus of turquoise! Ethereal! Just can't wait to put it all into practice!

Hi Jill, always love your videos and you look gorgeous. I have dry eye syndrome right now but I need eyeliner because I have to go to work every day. I’m always nervous using the pencil eyeliners though I like Sephora eyeliners. Do the retractable eyeliners from Sephora work as well as the pencils. Thank you 💕Kim

Do you use the gray/taupe color you used to contour your face to contour your upper lip as well? I can't tell but it looks like you're lining it with a lip liner color (=pink-ish). Thanks.

Lately I am all about matte eyeshadow. I have been using that same HD foundation, lately, and mixing in a drop or two of Glotion to give a tiny bit of sheen and color. I am no longer contouring under the cheekbones as I have been seeing people saying that the older we get, the more our cheeks hollow out and we look gaunt (and I am thin as it is), so leaving them with a bit of blush, high on the cheekbone and just bronzing everywhere else. Everything else you did I am copying. As for Show Stopper, I have her too and love her. Know what? Your opening look with nothing on your face also looked great! 💖💖

Gorgeous makeup tutorial, and you look so beautiful ❤️! But is it realistic for someone to go through so many layers, so much time in the morning before rushing to work?
Is there a beautiful look you could teach us that is easier? Such as moisturizer, foundation, blush, eyeliner, eyebrows contour and a little eye color and done? I don't think I can ever accomplish that beautiful but complicated make-up....🙏

You have to remember that I am someone that looks at makeup as a medium to be creative with, and I also find putting on makeup a relaxing part of my day. ;) I love the "act" of putting makeup on. ALSO...it seems complicated, but honestly it would take me about 20 minutes to do this....it truly isn't complicated. I do get what you are asking for though...I will do something like that for sure!

This look is beautiful! Did you use any setting powder? I ask because I cannot and never use powder! I have bought every single kind, from top end to drug store and it always looks horrible. No matter what tips and tricks I use it's horrible! My skin looks just fine with a BB cream and zero powder. What's your thoughts on this?
I haven not been setting with any kind of powder....like you, I just don't care for the finish/end look. Sometimes I will set my nose a little...but, hardly remember to do that.

I do....but, had my "hair" on, and usually I wait to do that until I am done with my makeup. I did put some of the blush color up there just to give a more cohesive look. I generally do add bronzer or contour around my forehead, because I do have a long forehead. ;)
