Wow, one of the few that doesn't hate the redesign, just gained a subscriber.
VERY happy with my 2017 1SS. $32K which for the performance is a bargain.
It has been comfortable and 100% reliable for two years now.

I have the 2018 Camaro SS in nightfall gray metallic with black powder coated rims,black lug nuts.The emblems I changed to black and the taillights and 3rd brake light. The car is very comfortable the seats hug you perfectly. The 2019 is the same engine and power. The front can easily be wrapped the color of the car to make it look better.If you get black you are fine. The back taillights are something to get used to but if you want a new SS that’s not a big deal.Great review 👍🏻😎

I bought a 2019 2SS and put Michelin all season 4 tires on it. These tires bite! Wet or Dry! I am so impressed!
It has grown on me. Tail lights are da bomb... lightly smoked. Front grill I like now. Not a deal breaker. Great review for a change.
just bought a brand new 2022 2ss (Black Redline Edititon) 10speed fully loaded with dual mode exhaust and mrc will be here in 2 weeks cant freakin wait! the magnaride makes the ride smooth as heck you literally feel nothing on harsh roads
It would look good in all black. I also had a good laugh when he said the Camaro has better visibility than the challenger 😂. I've owned em both buddy, Camaros are known for having the worst visibility in the segment. Doesn't mean it's not a great car though.

True I’ve driven both and both are bad tome but challenger is way better in visibility terms than camaros and I prefer Camaros still lol

I agree with you, the interior just does not match the exterior, the seats should have been black with red inserts or all black.
Great video. Camaro is back into super performance even in the everyday cars like the SS. Get better each year. That as tested price is lower than expected
Love my 2019 2SS.
I actually like it better than the C6 Corvette that I recently sold.
Probably going for a 2021 Vette next fall.

Drove to NC from PA and back. It was great.
Looked at and sat in one in my hometown and it was a beautiful blue. So impressed with the interior - seems like every year I like the dash more and more since the 1st dash of this model of Camaro years ago.

No. The front end is hideous
test drove this car earlier this year, and was blown away, price/performance. This is coming from a c6 Z06, '15 X5M driver.

Every 2018 or older Camaro owner is trying to convince themselves that the 2019 is ugly af. Most are triggered because they should have waited. In person the new 2019 Camaro SS looks aggressive and will change most people’s minds in the end.
The front I can deal with but they did change it again so maybe that kinda looks better. I want this car only for performance and features.

I own a 2002 SS. To me the most beautiful one ever. I'll admit they cheated out on it somewhat, but with a rear end upgrade and better clutch I am pleased. I am the original owner and as far as winter

I like the new front, I'm buying an SS in about 2 months ...
It looks way better with a dark grey or black color because it blends into the front end instead of being super stand out, also needs black wheels it’ll tie everything up much nicer instead of the chrome

Didn’t like the front at first but in certain colors I like it now. And start stop does help mpg if you do a lot of sitting in traffic or a lot of stop an go
Visibility is worse in the Challenger? What were you smoking that day? Ive been in both and the Mustang and the Camaro by far has the worst visibility of the 3 especially in the rear. They might as well not even have a back window and the back side windows are less than useless.

I'm testing one out now. It does look a lot better in person but I'm still on the fence about the front end

I have to agree with Keith, very good review! But unlike Keith I never was into Camaro's -well wait I retract that statement, way back in the late 70's and early 80's when I was in high school, when there was the Pontiac Trans Am and IROC I was a fan of those monster American gems. I have to admit though that the 2019 SS is Smoking Hot and I want one really bad but with a panoramic sun-roof! You're The Main Man Rob when it comes to car reviews...Peace, OUT!!!

I like the front end but only on the SS when its not painted body color, but the rear end is eh. It reminds me of the Malibu but great video keep it up

My stock 2019 Mustang GT w/ PP 1 had no problem taking the Camaro SS on the track. Had fun. They share the same transmission, so its close.Mustang is lighter though.

Most complain about that grill but to me that rear end and taillight configuration needs redesigned. What look are they going for?
The looks of the new Camaro have grown on me... I just think lights like LEDs should be standard on every vehicle produced in the US

Agreed i bought the 18 hot wheels and its a way better looking car IMHO but each their own. Front end and them bug eyed tail lights gotta go then the 19 will be nice.

Good job. I just bought my SS2 two days ago, and agree with your assessment. I can understand that there are people that don’t like the front end, but in my opinion it depends on the vehicle color. I thought my wife would not like my Riverside Blue SS, but she said it’s “pretty”...and who am I to argue? Hell, I still get to have this hot rod sitting in my garage. Small issue, but eliminating the built in wireless garage door opener for 2019 was a mistake. Now I have my clunky-looking clip-on remote disturbing an otherwise cool interior. The exhaust sound, the acceleration, the handling, and the Bose audio make up for any minor bitches people have. Regarding the audio, I find myself turning down the music so I can hear the pipes howling!

Not on my 2019 2SS. They eliminated a couple things that were on the 2018. Garage door opener, and inductive phone charger.

Yes, some stupid cost-cutting measure for something that is standard on a lot of vehicles, but should be included with upgraded packages like the 2SS. The good part was that I had a spec sheet that said wireless charging was included on the SS package. When I got home, and tried to find it, it was missing. Apparently, Chevy eliminated it without updating the spec sheet so I leveraged that to get a ZL1 front splitter installed. That really finished off the look.
My 2019 doesn't have the digital speedometer on the windshield.

Still not sold on the 2019. I want to trade in my 2016 for new, but I just don't know about the new refresh. Also, I'm looking at the background and thinking, man that looks like somewhere around here. I saw the route 20A and 98 signs, which is in Varysburg. I'm about 20 minutes east of you. Small world!
What do you think of the LT1 manual?
I really dislike the way they made the black bar across the middle of the front grill. It would’ve looked a lot better if it was the same color as the body. I’m planning on buying a camaro in the near future, but I may wait until they refresh the front end.
Really I have a challenge and the visibility is on par if not better than the Camaro.
engine sounds incredible with OEM exhaust, lot of engine, exterior could be nicer but interior and engine make up for it
Front end looks mean..the Camaro SS..and the ZL1 LE are awesome muscle cars..along with the mustang gt350..hellcat etc are all great cars that look better than the average looking European cars. The performance though is better..America is in its prime at the moment..along with ford gt and the awesome Corvette ZR1...wow!!!
