Okay. I'm honestly just here because I want to make something I can put my whole soul into, to make and sell over and over again. Anyone else?
Me too

Look into beekeeping in that case. Most people won't buy a candle but everyone needs honey/sugar. Bees also produce beeswax and you can farm bees within city limits
@@corneliusc8952 Thank you for the tip and I will. I've had some success with candles, but beekeeping would make sense also, as I love gardening; so it would just be the extra addition. I have 8 fruit trees so far.
Me always! But somehow it never happens.
My favorite thing about this tutorial was how you explained why you made every decision that you did 🥰
Thank you
Yes I agree great video!!
How to creat the wax
Agreed! Best candle making tutorial on youtube for this reason
Oh yeah what is the "pouring temperature" ill just take a wild guess
Just used this to make three candles to surprise my wife when she gets home from a business trip; this guide was absolutely first rate, super accessible, non-pretentious, informative, and very easy to follow.
12/10 stars.
Thanks so much.
OMG. you’re a good partner
Um okay what a thoughtful partner, that is so cute! ❤️❤️
Awww :)
How did your wife like them?
@@TheDownables Very much. Not so much for the quality but more for the effort. The quality was more lacking because these were some of the first candles I made, so not my best work. In the time since I've improved the craft considerably and have developed a finer sense of smell for mixing and matching scents, for wick placement in candles, and for overall best practices. Nothing educates like experience.
Never been much of a crafter, but i recently got hooked on candles and after spending a lot of money buying 12 and 14 dollar candles i thought i better see what's available. I see some money saving crafting in my future.
This quarantine is making me do things like puzzles and darts and baking
Paper mache, a bit of ballet and chess
Pottery and ventriloquy, and Now Candle making!! 👌🏼
Hahaha its like we are finding out all the possible things we can get interested in, in a couple of months, which would otherwise have taken a lifetime or beyond 😁
P.s you can check out homemade soap making next 😂

Thank you for a very clear and understandable tutorial. I appreciate it that you gave clear explanations as to WHY you did things a certain way. Not all content creators take the time to do that.

Another important thing I would say is to pour wax in heat proof cup ,bowl or any decorative tub ,glass ;) definitely don’t use plastic tragedies do happen when people don’t use heat proof stuff 😰😱😭

What about an an enamel pot is it safe I've never tried making a candle
Can we use earthen pots to pour wax in?
@@oreobenavidez953 I would assume it should be fine if I understand it right (being from different country )🤔😅 as normally enamel cookware is safe for cooking so yes I would say it’s worth a go :)

Hello! Love the video! Thanks for explaining into detail & showing after pics. Quick question. Is it safe to add those kind of decor? It won’t like catch on fire? Or do you remove the sea shell at a particular time the candle is burning? Would also like to add particular food items, such as candy corn, coffee beans, or cinnamon sticks.
Thank you
Excellent tutorial. I'm 70 yrs. young and have never made a candle in my life. I will now! Thanks! Sheri
Great video love that you get straight to the point !!!
This was great, thank you!
One of the best explanations I've found so far, so thank you. Couple questions 1# what's the temp for pouring ideally using soy/soy and coconut wax?
2# how does the decorations handle the heat of the wax and do they catch a light?
Thanks for sharing.

Hi there! Loved the video & great tips! What would be the ideal temperature to cool the wax before pouring into the jar/bowl?
And what is the temperature that the wax should be heated to?

I can't wait to try! :) What temperature is your pouring temperature?
Really useful. What temperature do you wait for the wax to cool to before you pour it in? X
Thank you! An easy to follow tutorial guide for beginners such as myself.
They did a really good job with how they explained things in the video I’m going into candle making and this was very helpful 😄
Thanks so much for making this video ❤️ I'm planning for our wedding and I want lots of candles but we're going to be tight on money so im making whatever I can ❤️
Awww hope it went well, congrats!☺️☺️
I’m new to candle making. I would love to see a comparison between wax types and a video on what fragrances work best with which wax.
Oh that’s a great idea
You are absolutely gorgeous.. natural beauty at it’s finest. Hope you feel better
Yeh u are so right about the gap around the edges, i always used to wonder what that was
Thank you! Can you talk a little about the scents/oils you use? Do you have a favorite brand? Can it just be a store bought oil?
This was a great video. I was shopping for supplies and got intimidated by people saying they had issues with “frosting” and issues with the “throw” of their candle, so I almost gave up.
I would love to see a video breaking down some of the specifics like the temperature we should melt the wax to before adding fragrance, and the temperature to cool the wax to before pouring etc. I think it would really benefit beginners to have those metrics. Thanks! ❤️
I just watched a really good how to make a soy wax candle on Bramble Berry’s channel. Really recommend it. It’s really detailed and explains those terms 😊
Healing Touch with Jones Thx, I’ll check it out! 🙏🏽 😊
Thank you for the very well thought out candle making process.
Beautiful video!! Thankyou so much for this. Also, love to see more aussies on CZcams ❤️🇦🇺
You mentioned letting the wax cool down a bit before pouring, but you didn't say to what temperature. Could you let us know? Thanks!
Allow it to cool down to 130*-140* - this temp works best for soy or parasoy.

Thanks for the video! quick question.. Do the dried petals burn well? or do they create a burning smell? thanks xx
