HOLA SALUDOS DE LOS CABOS MEXICO: este es el primer video que veo tuyo y me encanto eres muy creativa con tu trabajo!!!
One year later, this video is definitely what I was looking for. I'm just getting into the candle making business, but I can't find the right vessels that I like with a good size variety. Now I can make my own! Thanks!
I just had to leave another comment to let you know that your Amazon link is amazing! Keep being awesome!
You are so sweet Lala!! Thank you!! Love your name by the way ;)
I’m glad to see a art/crafter share ideas’….. I feel there’s enough to go around for everyone…. I loved watching; gaining new research as I’m going back into this medium.
I’m interested in hearing what warnings are being stated on the labels…
Good job my Dear. I have learned something that made me subscribe.
I so impressed with oh wow weee. You have a new subscriber. I’m gonna start bing watching
Yay! Thank you!
Beautiful candles! I started watching you from the video of your Infiniti Red Sport... I have one too now and just love it♡
Awesome, thank you Amber!! Yeah, I still have mine and I love it!! Ever since Covid I don't ever drive it into the office anymore. It only has 15k miles and it's a 2019, crazy huh?? Thanks for continuing to follow and watch my videos :)
Saw a video where one candle maker trimmed the thick rim part of the base off of the mold for the reason of getting them unmolded easier.
Hi, Malena your video popped up in my suggestions. Your candles are super gorgeous, such a unique idea. I LOVE that you make the vessels yourself too.
You are too sweet, thank you so much!! I've been waiting your videos for years, you've been so inspiring ♡ ♥💕❤😘
Okay gotcha
if you have a small air compressor you can blow air in them works great.
Love it. I am new here and I just love the vessels
You will love making them :)
Lindas. Achei seus moldes maravilhosos. Possui seu nome. No Brasil não tem. Parabéns.
Do you hava a video on how you designed your candle covers on cricut? Please make one!!!
Love your gun
Yeah I saw someone cut the side when taking it out and then lqter use rubber band to keep it together for the next pour!
Thank you for sharing and in return, the easiest way that I can think of, to separate the mold from the container, would be to use needle nose/ regular pliers, with rubber tips as to not damage the mold.
You should be able to grip it, pull, while using another tool (maybe made of wood or hard rubber preferred) to hold the bottom part of the jar and it should come off without much fuss.
I also want to advise in getting a power sander and you could even make a holding device for the sander to turn it upside down and this way, you can work on the jars from the top.
Love your videos, I have another question, what size are your molds, and how much wax do they hold.
Beautiful vessels!! They turned out fantastic! I've been making soy candles in different types of glass vessels, but this video is definitely an inspo for future vessel making (maybe come summer). TY!!
Thank you Shirene!! Once you start making them they become addictive ;) It's my Zen. LOL
@@MalenasCreations Love that 💯 💜
hello, awesome vessels! love them, I have a question, how many vessels by pound of concrete do you get?
I saw that someone trimmed the lip off the mold to make it easier to take off! Thanks for the plug on the lid mold! =)
Yes I just heard about that. I'm definitely trying that out. Thanks for watching ❤
You can try using an air gun to blow compressed air under the mould while peeling them off, that should make it a lot easier.
I saw someone else that uses those molds and they trimmed off that bottom rim so it was easier to just roll the mold off.
They came out beautiful.. I saw a next video with a shaker that’s shakes the bubble out u should get one to make it easier for u
That would be great to have!! Defiantly would save some time as well.
I saw another video using the same mold with the lip issue. She just cut it off with Xacto knife . And she said it so much easier to release out of mold.
The beauty of making concrete vessels for your candles, yes requires a little more time on your part…but is truly considered true handmade. And you can charge a little more, compared to those who buy their vessels pre made.
How much do u charge ur candles they look supper amazing ,the toppers look supper cool can u please make a video on how u made them
They came out beautiful! Can you do a video on the label toppers and where you got the warning labels for the bottom?!
Sure!! The labels are from Amazon amzn.to/3nXo88u
I adore your technique! I love the gold and wondering if that is also I paint color or a different medium…
Bom dia que trabalho maravilhoso, onde adquiri essas formas
LOOVE these!!!
Do you know if it's possible to create your own holographic/ iridescent / pearl effect on candle glass vessels?
Anyone?
Thank you so much!! Would you mind sharing the type of cardstock you use for dust covers?
It's just a basic cardstock that I got from staples.
I love this, this is the perfect video. I have a question is there a certain method that you use when adding the gild flakes.
I find it easier to push them down the sides with a popsicle stick or if they are turned inside out you can press them against the walls easier.
Hi, I use a little olive oil before pouring in wax
Really? I'll have to try that.
Hello, awesome video, what do you recommend when the pots are cracking from the heat? Mine are cracking when we light them up! Thank you
Hi there, thanks for watching! I've never had that problem before. Are you over wicking your vessel causing it to get too hot?
A lady on another video cuts the lip off with an exacto knife and says it makes it alot easier to de mold.
It’s also possibly the reason why her moulds go oval shaped instead of keeping their circular shape over time. I guess you give up one problem for the other.
@@wendytube007 I was thinking that too!!
I just watched that one too, lol
What she said
It's a game changer and does not effect the shape at all.
Thanks for the video! Did you seal the outside as well?
You're welcome! Sometimes I do seal the outside for a shinier look.
Where did you get the molds, I love how it has your name on the lid.
Thank you Annette
Thanks, Annette! The company that sold the custom lid is no longer to be found. I did however find another company that can make them. Boowan Nicole's Website boowannicole.com
Is there a way u can post the cricut file u used for the paper tops.
Hi. Really nice work with great results. I have had success releasing concrete from silicone moulds before by blowing compressed air down the inside of the form. I think this would work well for you too. Try to get a small jet of high pressure air down between the concrete and the mold.
I hope it helps
Thanks for the tip!
👍👍
❤❤❤
I have a hard time getting mines out also. I watch another video she recommended that we take a sharp knife and cut that lip off and it worked a whole lot easier
I'm gonna give it a try, thanks!
The label toppers are super cute. Can you do a video showing how to do these? Thanks so much in advance.
Hey did she do the video? I couldn’t find it
Yes, please do a video on how to make the top, this would save me so much money.
You are awesome thank you so much for showing us some of the things that you do! I am new to candle making and I just love it I have a question though why does anybody hardly use color to their candles as I've noticed most people are leaving their candles White. Thank you so much and your content was so well laid out and very easy to follow thank you!
Thank you so much!! I'm planning on making a few more videos on other candles ;) for the holidays. I'm not sure why others are leaving them white. Maybe they like that look, but I do love the added color. It gives them a nice touch.
How do you prevent white cement pots from cracking bcz my pots cracks after some days iam using only white cement and some colours
Hi! How many vessels are you able to make per pound of cement?
Thank you for making these beautiful videos for us ! Just a quick question, do you know if beeswax is a good sealant for concrete please?
Thank you Cheryl, you are more than welcome :) I love sharing my passion with you all.
That is a very good question...Hmmm I may have to look into trying it out.
So Awesome and creative!! Is there a program to download to get paper covers for cricut machine?
Not that I know of. I just measured the diameter and had to make a few mistakes before I figure out the perfect fit.
listen did you put gold shaving in to the concrete?love your work. god bless you
I add the gold flakes down the side of the mold and then pour the concrete.
you not having at least 1M subscribers is beyond me!! I don't get it!! I am totally taking a lot of inspiration from you. Sometimes I think the candle market is oversaturated but there is room for all of us I guess. Thank you for all you do to teach us new things!!
Non-toxic for general use. But is it safe for being heated/burnt as may happen at high heat with burning candles? Just curious because I don't know of any urethane coating products that are fire safe.
Hi these are great. Are they re-usable once empty?? Thanks
Thanks Karen. I have been reusing them a few times for testing. I would say I can get 3 uses out of them before they start to show oil through.
Hi Loved your video. What size are the wicks. Also could would Resin moulds work or would the wax melt them
They are from wooden wick co. I use the Crackling dual wick .04 width is .5 and height is 5"
Thanks for watching!
Great video on concrete candles. They're very pretty and they can be upcycled and used for bits and bobs in your home, like small jewlery. Where can you purchase the molds?
Thanks Jill!! You can get them on Amazon
1 Mold amzn.to/2SrRCOy
2 Pack Molds amzn.to/3CAecY6
Hello you a really good job with your concrete jar please how do you stop you fragrance oils from bleeding through when you light them?
Check out my latest videos on using a good safe sealcoat.
Hola buen video, ese color que le agregas al molde, es acrilico o pigmento especial para concreto
Obrigado. Usei tinta acrílica. Você pode encontrá-lo no meu link da Amazon na descrição.
Are you able to reuse these for supplies after candle is gone?
Could we make some for planters?
Fabulous! How did you get the gold flake inside the molds?
I drop them down the sides and push them down with something that you can slide down in to the bottom. I use the wood stir stick.
Yes bae. The easier way is to take a sharp knife or exacto and cut off that lip. Just slice it off all around. Easy peasy to de mold after that..
Loved your work,Can i ask you something?, Can i use gold leaf in the vessel making at the bottom?
Yes you can!
Love your video and your end product! Did I miss you putting some sort of gold or glitter in there? If so, what was the product and when and how did you add it?
Thank you Kate! I used gold flakes and pushed them down the sides with the paint stick.
Beautiful creations, but you should add the water to the concrete - that will eliminate the mess and the small concrete plume! Great work!
Yeah, in my recent videos I finally figured that out. Haha!! Thanks for watching!
Great video and beautiful candles. Thanks for sharing. What is the name of the printer that printed the logos ?
I used my printer to print the dust covers -Laser Printer: amzn.to/2U4dLE8
And my Cricut machine to cut them out. -Cricut Machine amzn.to/2Tu7bWt
Would love a tutorial on how you made your labor toppers. They’re a good idea.
Will do!!
Found a video tutorial for the dusters czcams.com/video/Ds3Gy2cQvOg/video.html
Love this video and your vessels are beautiful. You have inspired me to do the same. Question, since I have never worked with concrete before, what is the approx weight of each? I just wonder as I know concrete is a heavy material. Thanks!
Hi Debra, thank you so much! The weight is between 9.5oz to 10oz and with the lid it's about 12.5oz. Hope this helps :). Thanks for watching and best of luck!
@@MalenasCreations which cement u used .thank u
Thank you so much for this vid!! So informative. Do you think it’s more cost effective to make your own vessels if you can or buy them?
It really depends on how you look at it all. It is very time consuming making them but by buying them, it saves time and may save money if it's something you don't like spending your time doing and if you don't enjoy it.
Thanks so much for this tutorial. Love it.i didn't have luck finding the link of the company that made your lid molds.
Thanks for watching! I believe they are no longer in business. I'm still looking for another company that will make them.
@@MalenasCreations oh ok. Thanks for the response.
These are stunning how did u get the gold flakes in there?
Thank you!! I used the wood mixing stick to push them down the sides. ;)
