Great video Sam! We acquired a GVM slider a while back and I love not having to worry about whether or not my movements will be consistent and steady. It really is a "Set it and forget it" tool perfect for talking head interviews especially

Nice one Sam. Got the same slider and head setup. Been using it for a few months on client work but yet to explore it for my CZcams videos. I do feel my camera is a little heavy for it to be dead smooth (1DX mkii) and I wish there wasn't the pauses between keyframes. Hoping Zeapon start to update the app more with no pauses and what I would love is the ability to change speed or even add long timed pauses on the keyframes.
Apparently they’re working on the pauses between keyframes in later firmware 🤩🤞🏻 it’s so good though eh. Thanks for watching

I still cant figure out how to use this app. What I want to do is simple A to B to C move and its 50/50 works and not! App is laggy I can see it in your video as well. Hope dev will fix it.
Yeh it has been a little buggy but they’re working on it. My advice is, update the firmware if it seems glitchy. I did mine and it works fine now 🤩🙏🏻🎥
You tell the truth and above all it's easy to make sliders yourself, you don't even need to buy them
To make a question mark on the coffee you can try making the coffee as thick as possible so it make sure the question mark not dissolved and there's no need to be a coffee you can use any liquid for the coffee just make it look like a coffee color at the end

best use I got out of my slider is time lapse footage. really unique use but it looks amazing. I have a GVM motorized slider but probably wouldve saved money and just gone with a manual hand push slider for the rails alone. Any vertical movements always seemed to struggle with my rig weight. guess if youre only putting a small micro4/3 or something it'll be ok.

To get the movie froth at home without steaming the milk: heat up cream (not milk) in a microwave until luke warm, stir it up to add lots of air and repeat until the froth is desired texture- add cream to coffee cup holding cup at an angle so that the coffee touches the edge of cup, and the cream just slides over with no mixing, teaspoon can be used to help only scrape over top layer of froth.
To add symbol, heat the creamer a little hotter and stir more to get a more dry texture so that the powder lies on top instead of mixing- also fill the cup up as close to edges as possible, alternatively cut the stencil to a smaller diameter than the cup so it rests on the froth, tweezers to add/remove.
Coincidentally, this also works to make a killer latte or cappuchino for the production without spending $5 at a hipster hangout + winning ‘awesome co-worker’ points. Careful it’s hot.

all depends on the rig and how heavy. I have a GVM motorized slider that I put a BMPCC6k pro on. it works but the start/stop points is a bit wobbly because of the weight. My iPhone on it works great. in fact, I mounted the iPhone to a small gimble for phones, and I control the pan/tilt wirelessly as the slider moves. it gives amazing results. I dont go up and down with it though, only sideways because im worried about the weight and dont want the camera to come crashing down if the motor slips.

Hi Rich. I did have some problems with the app and firmware but they are constantly updating it so a quick firmware update always sorts the issue. 👌🏻🎥

If you need a flat head, a Philips won’t do. Every tool has its place as you can see in this video. I love handheld and gimbal and sliders. Slider is probably my least used out of the 3 BUT when I need it, it’s there. If you don’t need a slider, then it’s a waste of money, if you do, it’s an investment.
