Sir, it is 3:30 am and you basically saved my marriage. Our poor pup is sick and I’m cleaning up after her (in several rooms) and I discover our Bissell has no suction! Our carpet is soaked and I’m blaming my husband because he used it last. Then I watch your video. Perfect explanation - I check the red suction thing, I make sure the hose door is closed, and yep! The front part was not put back properly. We don’t know who did it. We don’t care. It’s fixed and we can continue and then go back to bed. Thank you!

Great video, you solved our problem within minutes! Our bissell revolution pro 2x wasn't sucking up dirty water, I searched for a solution for hours until I came across your video, turns out we weren't connecting the roller brush cover correctly, I followed your suggestion and connected the bottom section of the cover first for proper seal and that fixed the problem! One thing I found on the Pro Heat 2. The top part of the device, which you can unsnap to take off, has a really soft rubber gasket. The gasket on mine had come out in one place and was pinched over the lip, so it was losing suction there. Might be something to check out. Better rubber should have been used in that design. I used a toothpick to pry it out for about 3 inches and then re-seated it. Worked fine after that. Thanks to the vid maker for getting me to look that over.

@@traflan1 OK...lets first verify that the pump is working properly..try shampooing with the upright. if you are able to shampoo the carpet, then we can focus our attention on the hose attachment and the upholstery tool... hose--check to make sure that the port (where the hose connects to the unit) is not clogged. Then try to spray without the nozzle attached. if it spays, the try attaching the nozzle (process of elimination) I will be posting a video about look for it - possibly today or tomorrow.

WOW Wayne, thank you a bunch. Honestly, didn't think that was the issue, usually I snap it in from the top and not the front and the past few times it hasn't been sucking anything I thought maybe I had debris clogging it or something. Nope, was snapping it in wrong thank you a bunch!

I didn't get the collar on my 2x revolution dirty water tank. Lucky for me it was in my kitchen. Dirty water was all over. I found out you can use it to clean linoleum.
