Ive been dreaming of seeing pantera since i was 10 and got vulgar display of power and im seeing them in August and I still can't believe its going to actually happen!

@@nroks Ah yes it's on wikipedia, that automatically makes it true. Legally it's called Pantera, sure. And the reason for it are the suits. To get a tour that big going they would never take the risk and let the band call themselves CFH or something. The musicians (both inside and outside the band) however are saying that it's a tribute. Vinnie's estate, which gave the crucial OK for all of this said the same.
I'll be trying to go!!!! Last time I saw Pantera was in 1998 at Milton Keynes Bowl. Amazing!!!!!

My Pantera 2001 shows will always be the final PANTERA concert. This clearly isnt Pantera, no matter what anyone says, so I'll be there to enjoy Phil & Rex crush a headlining set of Pantera tunes with some of the Abbotts best friends. Should be fun, wont change anything about my final Pantera concert in 2001

I am. Have 2 tickets to pantera in Phoenix September 2023. First saw them in abq 96' my second concert ever. Best concert year of my life, pantera, white zombie, kid rock, Metallica, Tupac, notorious big, korn. Deep bass with mad lyrics. Pimp

I have seen pantera live. Greatest moment ever at a concert. This isn't pantera. You can't call it pantera when the two main music writers aren't there. Enjoy the show but if you think watching zakk wylde playing is the same, you aren't a real fan.

I'm seeing Pantera on August 18 in Arlington, Texas! That's the hometown show and it's going to be awesome! And, they're opening for Metallica at Cowboys Stadium. Two of my favorite bands in one night.

I have to admit that the work of Benante on drums and Wilde on guitar is totally remarkable, since they have never wanted to replace Paul and Dime at any time, but rather have played with their style. Bravo for them!
Really ? He's butchering every solo, I think it's absolute shambles. With all the soul Darrell put into his solos, zakk is doing them total injustice.

I used to see those guys when they were playing clubs. It usually took two bucks to get in the door. Stage diving, speaker diving. One place called The Axiom, you could climb up the speaker stacks, jump up to the rafters on the ceiling, then monkey bars your way above the mosh pit and bombs away. I have seen Pantera roughly 30 times. The first arena show I saw them play was the last time I saw them live. Thirty-five dollars to sit in an arena seat and not bleed or accidentally get kick in the face the entire night totally sucked compared to the insane nights of moshing to Pantera.
The show was awesome last year in Daytona and I can't wait to see the show tomorrow in Tampa, I couldn't be more excited about any other band coming to play. Don't listen to the haters it's a kick ass show and the perfect way to honor the lost by celebrating thru music.

Don't get me wrong I wa all for the tribute at first, then I saw some live footage online and they are straight up butchering the songs man, the difference in quality is night and day to what it used to be, Phil can't do the pantera vocals justice anymore and even though Zakk is a awesome guitarist he is messing up the solo's in incredible fashion

And Rex is the only glue holding this monstrosity together. And that’s not even mentioning the controversy around Phil. You just can’t replace the brothers, you can’t. That’s like replacing lady gaga with yoko ono.
