@@fedinabau8368 oh don’t get me wrong I love black metal and that riff style is perfect for this type of music I just don’t think that the riffs on their own are better than the death or thrash metal ones. But to each their own and they’re all definitely amazing
@Vaeks to be fair I think death metal has evolved further than black metal due to it's popularity but black metal is definitely more diverse than thrash

thrash has the most emphasis towards riffs for sure, therefore they're most likely going to be better. but "the philosopher" is a good competitor, Chuck's skill is undeniable.

That was awesome!! I love Thrash Metal, Classic Heavy Metal, Hair Metal and Hard Rock. But I'm not a fan of Death Metal, Black Metal, Grind Core and Metalcore. All of these Metal songs are very difficult to learn how to play on the guitar.

If you haven't listened to them yet, check out Death, specifically their albums from Human on. I'm still not big on the genre but they're easily in my top 5 favorite bands.
@@raihidara Thanks for the recommendation. I have heard of the band Death. I did check out the album, Human by Death. Their 1 instrumental song "Cosmic Sea" by Death off of Human is the ONLY song I like. I really don't care for any of their other songs that I've listened to. The growling vocals and loud, heavy pounding
drums are WAY TOO harsh, brutal and intense for my musical tastes. I've also heard the Death Metal bands Deicide, Job For A Cowboy and Cannibal Corpse. I'm also NOT a fan of their music, either. I'm open-minded when people recommend something to me or tell me about a certain band that I haven't heard before. Death Metal and Black Metal are both an acquired taste.

Great shown the differences. This should be completed with typical tuning, distortion and set ups for the guitar (strings, pickups e.t.c.).
I forget how good you can really play. All three categories were very interesting.
THRASH was my favorite. The riffs just seemed groovier !

Cant choose i like the 3 different styles. If you like guitare riffs i can suggest the underated bands deranged (1990 to 2000) and mors principium est, mainly for the album dawn of the fifth era.

Basicamente é o mais acessível, não precisa treinar o ouvido tanto quanto os outros 2 pra ouvir. Mas a partir do momento que vc se aprofunda no Death e Black, vc percebe o "não sei quê" dos dois.

So basically, they're all incredible; it depends more on the drumming to define the genre; Death is more technical/melodic; Thrash is more successful, and Black is more BPM.
