People say this and other Discovery songs are underrated but you all need to remember that this is literally one of the most acclaimed albums not only in house or electronic music but music in general. You do not get that love if people don't think every track on it is amazing.
So yes, you can go sleep well tonight, tomorrow and further knowing this masterpiece is not underrated.

In my humble opinion, I feel like this is one of their best but most underrated songs. One More Time, Around the World, Get Lucky, and Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger are probably their most famous, but I think this one is a gem, hands down. Evocative, funky, deep, and timeless. I really wish this song would have been mixed on the Alive 2007 album.

I think that Touch and Something About Us are my 2 favorites of theirs, though I do enjoy the Around The World/Harder Better Faster mix (maybe moreso than their originals).
Technically it was. If you listen to their Alive remix Rappel/Human After All/Together/One More Time it has this song's rhythm in it. You just can't hear cause it's too quiet. I think it's also in Too long/Steam Machine or something like that idk

That would be the message of the music video, not the song itself. Also, like a crescendo, makes no sense. That is not what a crescendo means. A crescendo is the loudest peak in a sound or song, it is nearly the opposite of what you implied.

Yeah I transcribed it to a real bass and its actually super complicated! All sorts of really cool fills and little sincopation nuances! Also musically the chromatic walk down is brilliant.

In that, you also have versions of robot rock itself (such as maximum overdrive) to say that it was lazy seems somewhat hard to me.
