Both Films, well all, have the same vibe as this music video. Thought I'd make some recommendations to fellow film and music heads
Spoke to a few American and Euro friends (I'm from UK) and they don't seem to respect Gorillaz as it is a 'virtual band'. I've tried to explain it is Damon Albarn who has grown tremendously since Blur. And the animation style is Jamie Hewlett of Tank Girl so maybe it is British thing that we see through the 'virtual band'. I love them, personally. I'm sure lots of Euro and US people love them too. Just a bit weird the reaction from some of my non-UK friends.

The coolest part of that music video - besides the amazing work in merging animation and real world, which easily rivals even many works of today - is that they got Bruce Willis to do his thing there. I mean, nothing out of the ordinary for him, but seeing him back then in the Video blew my mind and is still a sight to see today. It is one more document of a great actor.

2-D is literally why I love wearing silly hats or masks. He's been my fashion icon since 2001 and I have no shame in that. I once had a coworker tell me I seemed like a cartoon character based on how I dress and it's one of the best compliments I've ever received.
This is one of the many great things Bruce Willis has done. I hope he lives his best life and remembers everyone important to him.

Forever one of my favorite Gorillaz songs since Plastic Beach came out back in 2010 when I was 10 years old. I love the plot of the music video for this one and having Bruce Willis appear as a character.
The way Bruce looks at the camera is the coolest thing I’ve ever seen
GUYS, SHOW SOME APPRECIATION FOR THIS GLORIOUS ANIMATION HERE:
Looking back at this from watching it the day it came out, I'm really starting to notice the fine detail within the animation. The way Murdoc slightly nudges 2D to direct his attention to Cyborg Noodle malfunctioning, 2D mouthing words to Murdoc as the bounty hunter gets closer, even small things that really portray their characters through their personal animations such as 2D slowly ducking his head down in the beginning when the police were coming or when the cop car was shot off to the side of the road and 2D shot Murdoc that questioning look. All of it is EXQUISITELY done. Seriously, props to the animators on this. These small details are what REALLY stick out and make an animation believable and life-like, and they nailed it!

I recently seen seen a short documentary on Bruce's Health, and was saddened to what i saw. His career and everything else is pretty well gone .. I never seen this video before and stumbled upon it, I always liked the Gorillaz.. Watching this was amazing! Listening to a good tune and watching an iconic actor in the same video!! I love this song, it's like an old friend now. And the music video has got to be one of the most exciting ever made for a band. Seeing Bruce Willis like that makes you feel a bit sad though, he looks great in this and in his prime, effortlessly cool and with charisma to spare. Life just isn't fair.
I learned today that Mr. Bruce Willis was diagnosed with dementia. Incredibly sad. I hope that Bruce can live through that condition with the highest possible life quality. A great actor that brought us many happy moments and enjoyment. This fantastic video is the last thing I had seen from him.
