NY is single party consent state when it comes to recording phone conversations. So, the recording is acceptable as evidence in court and the same for federal law.

Maybe, maybe not. We don't know the full circumstances of the recordings, and not all legal recordings are admissible.
@@pjpredhomme7699 Irrelevant. Either way, it's legal. If it's a phone recording and it's a two party consent state, that means two people involved in the conversation have to give permission and this evidence wouldn't be allowed.
And at least according to the court filings she made, Giuliani consented to being recorded a lot of the time.
