It's an enigma how tf2 players never look up given that half the classes have some form of vertical mobility.
even with the existence of soldiers, Official TF2 maps mostly have very little verticality, except for Hightower.

@@ihatethis103 The spot is very impractical. It's near impossible to actually place a sentry up there and it's easy to destroy it. Not to mention sentry jumping every time you want to give it ONE wack of ammo.

I was once on a server that had a mod that let anyone save their position with a slash command then teleport back to it whenever they wanted to. Whoever programmed it apparently overlooked that it also worked if you switch your team to spectator, fly to somewhere out of bounds, use the command, then swap back to a player. Had an entire enemy team wondering how and why I was building a sentry nest in an inaccessible area behind a window in their spawn room.
Missed opportunity to build go to the skybox and build a gigantic sentry
@@bytesabre Not sure if the spectator camera could go that far out of the map, or if the map had a 3D skybox. It was like 10 years ago. I do remember building a few other places out of bounds, though, so I imagine I would have tried that if I could.

it's amazing, this glitches and secret spots have been on these maps for years now and people, perhaps younger kids, are seeing them for the first time. it's really us that's getting old huh
I've been playing on and off way over a decade and had a loong pause these last few years, but when a video like this shows up, as well paced and well thought out as this, it still garners laughs way more than anything else. TF2 needs something to truly come back, but there's never been anything like it, or anything which does what it does better.
