I’m not the best judge of character but I usually find that a good sense of humour is a reliable assessment metric for whether the person can be trusted or not. Angry, resentful, Machiavellian types don’t tend to take the p***, which is telling.

I believe that open discussion is the safeguard to ensure the system is working well. Our legal system seems well designed, but the public and those educated and willing, all play a role in creating a well-informed public debate. The voting public should be sufficiently mature and well educated to discern fact from fiction and the debateable points in between. They also have the common sense and wisdom to know and understand the reasons why suppression has not been part of our culture. What is happening to our common way of enjoying or tolerating open debate and agreeing to disagree, where necessary?😳

It deviated from the orthodox Marxist ideology on the point that it is capitalist’s fault in suffering of oppressed working class people. According to Italian fascism capitalists and workers should be working together to reach common prosperity. German national-socialists thought the same and declared that jews made german workers to suffer.
