5 things I must change about our new G82 M4 xDrive - First Modifications!

- It wasn't going to be long before our G82 M4 xDrive went under the knife for some first modifications, and we're starting things pretty simple before we get stuck in to making this M4 a lot faster than it came from the factory.

The carbon on the air vents certainly improves inside and the corner carbon corners like you say much better 👍

I just saw the new m4 yesterday in person and it looks epic the front grill is just soo good in person, videos and pictures don't to justice to this car.

The turbo intake with the internal dimples seems to have a metal heat shield attached or some other shinny metal component. Nice attention to detail. Eventuri Chasing Perfection #OCD

Great video was lucky enough to get down to the ultimate BMW event at Gaydon and see the car in person (and Imran 😂). Great first set of mods and can't wait to see where you go with it. Waiting for these bosch ECU's to get cracked to see what's possible from the S58. Also got some mods lined up for my 2021 X3M Competition including eventuri intake and remus race exhaust.

ECU’s have been cracked by Femto, just have to be sent away currently, we’ll be doing it as soon as the run in service is complete!
Yeah heard about Femto cracking them through Xbimmers but looks like they are being sent to Russia to be opened up and just not keen on my ECU going walkies or getting lost in transit. Will have to wait until a UK based tuning company come up with the magic 🤞
They’re sent to Finland now but same difference.
It’s not so much a U.K. company doing it, we use Femto to tune a lot of cars, but that they currently only do the MG1 ECU unlock in-house. At some point we hope to be able to offer it (either through them or another company that cracks ECUs such as CMD or B Flash) in house also.
Tuning a car and cracking an ECU/making software to read/write to an ECU are very different things.

In winter the coffee will stay warm whilst the warm air is blowing through the heater vent. And will keep soft drinks cold in summer when the AC is blowing :) 😀

Can't wait to get my g80 m3 xdrive, I'll tune it to around 600whp. Enough to gap most cars but not make it undrivable.
I hope I can get some eventuri parts here in South Africa without import tax killing me.

Those mods really did wonders for the engine bay! Is that the same Studie that did the famous BMW M1 cars back in the day?
Not the same no, they were made by a company called AHG, and ‘Studie’ means study in German. Studie AG are a Japanese BMW tuner and good friends of ours.

That strut brace replacement looks spectacular. The garbage that comes stock looks like pieces of a cheap bed frame.

Not something we planned to cover at all, what would you like to know?
When will you fix the front grill issue with your new bumper?
Hope to have a first prototype soon, had to allocate production staff to products with long lead times slowing development of the bumper.

The wheels are changing, but mint green is most definitely here to stay!

What about warranty, not everyone can do those mods and new car, how far can you go with new cars without messing up factory warranty, thats what we need to know
If you’re worried about modifications voiding your warranty, do not modify your car. That is always our advice.

Who doesn't like too much carbon, well, those idiots at the new top gear review of the M4C say it has an overuse of cheesey carbon all over the place..... I mean, WTF kind of comment is that! Bring on the bling for mine please Mr Evolve.

@@EvolveAutomotive I’m just a purist myself. Only own and drive manual rwd drives all year round. My E92 M3 is my winter car. So I’ll never understand the xDrive platform for a M3/4. Likewise I wouldn’t care for a GT3 with AWD/PDK. It’s the direction of BMW that bothers me. From DCT to auto and RWD to xDrive now.
