Engineer is like, "WTF, Deja Vu, I could swear I passed that same guy... WTF again, must be a family of identical twins... WTF, again.... is this guy actually stalking me?"... Love the guy who backs up when he realizes the stop sign is back where the car behind him stopped. Thanks for the Morning Post!
I think most train crews have a similar reaction whenever we railfans decide to chase the train. 😂 At least the ones who aren’t really familiar with what railfans are. If they get to know your face, I’d say the chases become much better.
All the folks will be on one side of the train looking for you when they hear, "hey, it's Post 10, I think he's filming us!" We loved watching the train spotters on our scenic ride a few years ago!
Like the good ol days with my nephew. I catch myself going to train station watching trains by myself since he's gotten older. Watching this with a smile on my face. Thinking of memories. Still love it!
Imagine the conductor telling their partner about their work day: "this guy was at almost at every crossing. I don't know how they managed to do that. Are you even listening to me?" Then they turn to look at their partner and it's post and he's like "really? Tell me more." 😂
I know the train conductor was thinking he was being stalked. He started picking up speed trying to beat you to the next intersection. Lmao!!! What an AWESOME video!! Post, you have to be the best CZcamsr there is. Thank you.👍👍
When I was younger my family and I would stay at a family friends place that bordered some of the woods the train goes through and one of my favorite things to do would be to put pennies on the tracks before the train came and then afterwards collecting the flattened pennies. It was super cool and I still have the pennies years later
Truly amazing! Very cool video Post! I'm glad you were able to meet the train at all the main crossings. It would be awesome to see their Polar Express run! The still pictures you shared at the end of the changing leaves, the rock face and the mushrooms on the tree, all were just gorgeous! I did laugh a bit at the Beaver Dam Lane sign 😄😄. You're probably the best videographer I've come across on this platform. Have a great week! 👍🏻🌻😊
Thanks Post 10 for another great video ! I am going to resist the temptation of blathering on about why this and why that(retired locomotive engineer)...I'm very fortunate for the great career and this one made me smile .
Excellent video and very well filmed. There's something strangely comforting about a train horn, maybe its a kind of 'constant' and whether it's sun, rain or snow, trains keep rolling. Paul Simon had a song with the lyric "Everybody loves the sound of a train in the distance", maybe that's true.
I once stayed in a hotel in Oakland where, a block away, passenger trains would pass, riding on Embarcadero West. At 12 PM, those constant horns every half hour in each direction, become a sort of a nuisance…
Man this brings me back. My son (now 4) was obsessed with train videos for about 8 months after he turned 1. We watched thousands of train vids, with most being train crossing videos. Oh those were the days. Thank you!
What a great video mate👍. That would be a great day having a look around that railyard. Nice looking part of the world where you are. Keep up the good work all the best from Australia good on ya mate👍😊.
Oh post 10 I enjoyed that so much I love hearing those horns on those trains this one was a very interesting video thank you so much for sharing it have a good day hugs
The very bright Sun directly behind the crossing made it so that one car did not see the signal. Good thing the train is very loud. It took me a minute to realize what happened there. BTW thanks for your cool videos.
Excellent video. Awesome catch on that light indicator on the top of the railroad signal post. Can't say I've seen that anywhere else in the US so far.
This is a magnificent video, it looks a really nice journey, especially with the leaves changing colour. Thank you for bringing this to the people, it is much appreciated.
This was kinda nostalgic for me: I spent summer growing up in North Conway. We lived in CT, but had a nice tent camper that my mom and I lived in at the Saco River Campground. My dad would come up on weekends and when he had vacation weeks, we’d take the camp trailer up into Canada. That was a lot (!) of years ago and the area is totally different these days (the outlet malls ruined the place for normal tourism), it it was a great childhood :-)
You did a great job chasing this train. The p5 sounded good also. I couldnt tell but looks like a geep 35 highood loco maybe. Whether filming trains or one handed unstopping a culvert while filming you are very good at it sir😀. Keep it up.
What fun chasing a train. Wonder what the engineer was thinking when he kept seeing you. A nice looking train. How many people it can carry? Beautiful fall colors. Thanks for the fun and stay safe.
A fun school trip in Glen Cove is to the Long Island Rail Road turntable in Oyster Bay two towns over from me. They load you in at Glen Cove station and ride the train out to Oyster Bay, end of the line. Fun fact, Oyster Bay was home to Theodore Roosevelt.
I think they were just sitting on the track trying to piss off the driver if anything because this train goes so slow it's likely the driver would be able to stop if he saw someone laying down but it looks like they were just sitting it to me
"Beaver Dam Lane" was renamed after Post visited there and now it's just "Lane".
from Beaver Dam Lane to just any damn lane
I wonder if there were any clogged culverts there.
Is it not named Post 10 Lane?
lmao
I bet theres a couple big turds in that one train where the Hobo was staying with the chair the could name that one The Shitery Express

deja vu, a glitch in the matrix
Bet that is what they thought with me when I chased it

That is a gorgeous train.
Fr. Its feels like its so rare to see a train without a bunch of ugly graffiti. But even besides that, the design and color theme is so pretty.
Of course he is picking up speed. He’s like, is that the same guy I saw before 🤣
Post is a man of the people. Railfans, muckfans, drywall fans: he gets em all
Like the good ol days with my nephew. I catch myself going to train station watching trains by myself since he's gotten older. Watching this with a smile on my face. Thinking of memories. Still love it!
I used to do the same with my uncle. Watching these brings back great memories for me too!
@@ponduforus Fun times!

Haven't been to North Conway since I was a kid to ride the trains. This Unlocked some memories of the area for sure! Thanks for sharing Post!

Beautiful country and train. Great video! Thank you. 😎❤

Best wishes for you!
Hope you pull through. 🥰

Also, I took this train with my (now wife) 10 years ago on our first camping trip. Also good times! :)
"Here it comes!"
Madeline + train = sheer delight.
Classic.
Thanks for another awesome video. There's something special about railway crossing bells, I love the sound.
the conductor be like: there’s the same guy again! 😂

Most favorite video ever !!
Love when you post things about trains and even the ghost towns
I love this video! 😍
Posty looks like a dad with his young child showing them the cool train during that behind the scenes footage 😂😂
Oh post 10 I enjoyed that so much I love hearing those horns on those trains this one was a very interesting video thank you so much for sharing it have a good day hugs
That was beautiful, I really enjoyed the vid 🙂
Aw, filming the wig wag in action at the end woulda been icing on this cake! Cool concept and video anyway :D
Gotta love the New Cast P5 on that oldie EMD.
Its kinda cool chasing trains in the local areas. Thanks to the moderate trackspeeds
Great fun... thanks Post10!

Those carriages look good. Would love to have a peek inside them. Very enjoyable video , thanks.

One lucky fella. You have all that stuff on your doorstep(more or less) scenary and trains and so on. Thanks for doing and showing what you do post.
Actually 4 hour drive
Figure of speech I think. 4 hours is a decent distance away👍
I love trains, they always amaze me
That is a nice looking train!
Love this video
Great video! Thanks! So many lonely cabooses...
Cool video! Thanks!!
Excellent video. Awesome catch on that light indicator on the top of the railroad signal post. Can't say I've seen that anywhere else in the US so far.
Such a quiet train. Well besides the horn and bell but other than that it is a very quiet train. Amazing how well maintained the tracks and train is.
It's amazing the amount of cars I see ignore the warning lights.
people are stupid everywhere
It's not only them their endangering but all the passingers too, it's all to save 1 minute of their time, highly frustrating.
I was watching your abandoned roundhouse vid when I saw you posted this. I love the rail fanning stuff
Check out the abandoned train station in the woods that one was pretty to watch.
Awesome video.
This is a magnificent video, it looks a really nice journey, especially with the leaves changing colour. Thank you for bringing this to the people, it is much appreciated.
That is a gorgeous train
Train: We got this damn beaver dam remover stalking us over here at Beaver Dam Lane
We have lived near here since 1986, I think it's about time I had a ride on it! 😂😂

A little photography tip: Always film your subject with the sun against your back. You are always promised the best light. 🌞
I wanted certain scenery in some of the shots that's why I did it anyways
@@post.10 Justification accepted on that.
Great doppler effect!
🚞 love ur Videos
it's so incredibly rare to see a wig wag even in a museum, especially the union switch & signal DW models
11:40 - and by all the waving it seems the passengers are recognising you too! 😄
No beavers!!
Crossing called Beaver Dam Ln
When the 2X daily freight ran, the plow use to stored near Mallet's grocery store in Bartlett.
This is impressive.
Very cool.
Post 10 just became a Railfanner
Love your freight videos post10

Cool
A couple of times at the different crossings that person and the suv came awfully close to the train.💚💚

I like how the passengers started waving at the last crossing

that beautiful. tin it in my country Puerto Rico our machine still existed. 😍😍
nice
17:48 I remember when they used to have these cabooses on the ends of every freight train and you would see hobos riding in the box cars.
How sad that a person was laying in the track. Looked like they had a change of heart and moved off. It’s amazing you caught that on camera.
I think they were just sitting on the track trying to piss off the driver if anything because this train goes so slow it's likely the driver would be able to stop if he saw someone laying down but it looks like they were just sitting it to me
