Three 1" standard plate posts allow increased resistance for a progressive challenge every time you work out. The PVLP156X is crafted of durable alloy steel with an extremely tough powder coat finish. 400 lb. weight capacity. Olympic adapter sleeves are optional. Weight plate posts are 1" dia. Shown with optional Olympic Adapter Sleeves.

Thanks for posting this, I almost bought a new one, then got a used one, and it was easy to reassemble after seeing this video. Also I figured out the back pad had been put on wrong ;)
The best thing I noticed about this machine for home use, is I could leave all the weight plates on it if I wanted, and it's just metal resting on metal, and then use it anytime without loading up plates. But I'm only using 200lbs now, it sure feels good like 250-300lbs on a gym machine.
I prefer that over barbell squats. that will help a lot especially for older people who suffer bad joints.
Lo necesito para Lima
I have been looking for this type of machine
Glad to hear! You can purchase from any of our online retailers or visit a Body-Solid dealer in your area at bodysolid.com/dealer_locator.
Зачем три штыря хватит и одного в центре у нас был такой самодельный станок отличная вещь из труб и швеллера
the shafts are dry which makes a loud noise when pressing any suggestions to get rid of the noise
Sorry to hear about this issue. Please contact us at service@bodysolid.com or bodysolid.com/service and we can help you out!
use some wd-40 oil and all the noise goes away.
I used a little synthetic motorcycle grease and it's whisper quiet now. That kind of grease lasts forever too.
Is it suitable for 5.5 lifter? Thanks
Sure! The woman in this video is probably around that height if not a little shorter so it should be no problem for you.
Is it safe for the low back?
It is. Like any workout, though, you'll want to make sure you're lifting safely and with complete control and using an appropriate weight. If you follow all of those, yes, this machine is safe.
@@BodySolidFit Thanks for your answer. I've just ordered one. I'll take a few days of rest because I have still a lumbago (I think it's because the dips I made regularly). I had lots of pain in my low back these last few years (sciaticas and lumbagos).
Looks like a pain to add and remove 6+ 45lbs plates. I hate vertical stacks
Definitely ..you can't lift too much on the vertical press either, especially a cheap one like this . The whole thing shakes when I put the max ..Glad I got rid of it
What’s the max weight on this?
400 lb. weight capacity.
luckey the whole thing shakes when I put 300 lbs ...
did not come down low enough
I am 5'9". Will I be able to deep enough on my knee bend on this? It appears the woman in the video was not. Thanks.
You should have no issue whatsoever. The male in the video is around 5'8-5'9 and had no issue getting a full bend. It's all about leg strength and flexibility at that point but it's definitely designed for that height.
@@BodySolidFit Thanks very much. When will you have it back on sale on Amazon? Also, do you offer discounts for first responders?
I was able to switch the position of the back pad, so my shoulders are two inches closer to my knees, and I get a huge stretch now, it's a great machine.
Doesnt look like you can go that deep on this
@orionh3000 Yeah. We looked further to see about getting one and you can't even find them anywhere right now anyway.....But I'm the same . I prefer to go deep and get a full stretch. We ended up buying a good used universal with a leg press cable machine attached. Its one step from commercial and pretty heavy duty. Its not as good imo as the leg press at the gym but I can at least get pretty close to full range..
I put an old mattress on the base of this to raise me up and I get full range of motion that way .
I was doing deep squats before, then I got this used, they were in Kijijii or Facebook marketplace. I had a huge stretch and it can go very deep. My back pad was flipped to the tilt was bigger, like my shoulders are two inches closer to knees, I like it this way.
You pull pins out to go full depth.
But then it's hard lock out at top when going heavy have to put pins back in at top.
@@dylanowens3173 Thanks, good idea! My BodySolid was missing the pins so I used two Dollar General Allen keys that work great. But I ordered some better locking pins from Ali Express, like the gym weight stack pins.
