  • Taco Rice is a popular Okinawan dish that can quickly and easily be put together at home! It’s ground meat that has been sauteed with some spices, served on rice with cheese, tomatoes and lettuce. It’s as flavorful as a taco, and filling! Have fun with the toppings, and adjust the spice level to your liking.

I´m Mexican but my boyfriend is from the US, we live in Mexico now, and this channel is helping me a lot to find new ways to incorporate American-style recipes into my Mexican cuisine.

Glad to hear that! This dish has taken a couple of different trips across the Pacific! 😃

I love that you skipped the ketchup and made it your own version.

Thanks Dino! I love ketchup on fries, but yeah, would rather use fresh tomatoes when cooking! 🍅

Happy anniversary. Were those tomatoes from your garden? You’ve come a long way since you first posted a year ago.

Thanks for watching since day 1! These tomatoes are store bought, I have not kept up with the garden so much after the move because the new balcony doesn't allow so much direct light or rainfall like at my old place.
