  • There's certainly no love lost between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor. After McGregor's latest loss to Dustin Poirier, Khabib said, 'When money and fame come, these two things show who you are. And what has [McGregor] done? …With him, no, I don't believe [he'll return to the top]. Conor has good age [32], but what happened with his mind, legs -- this guy is finished, but he's good for promotion.' Hear what Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe have to say about Khabib's comments towards McGregor.

Yo skip and Khabib are so right but what i like to add to that is thats what seperates him from Money Mayweather Because even with the fame and money and trash talking he backs it up in the ring undefeated still and now training new boxers Conor is the one that let the fame and fortune get to him so he doesnt take his opponents seriously and barks to sell tickets but hes washed up and should retire and live his best life before he ends up like Randy Couture Bj penn chuck lidell betor belfort anderson silva cant add Gsp because he retired at the right time before he ends up washed up like these guys but conor could be next ohh thats right i forgot Rousey Rhonda

Also more than half of his fights are vs. local Dagestani fighters with 0-2 wins and many more losses. He defended the title 3 times. GSP defended his UFC titles 13 times.

Agreed...he has made more money than any mma fighter (net worth $350+ million)and is a two weight fmr. World champion ..however he has not improved his weaknesses and his trash talking is hot air now because he doesn't back it up anymore..the fight with Mayweather was a blessing and a curse..he made around $100 million for that fight but seems to lost his desire to be the best..great run Connor but nothing lasts forever...time to retire before someone hurts him permanently.

It was a win-win for both - and the suckers are the ones who paid $ for it.

Connor's inactivity and focus on boxing has meant his body (especially his legs) were less conditioned for MMA. Combined with his latest training camp where he clearly focused on leg kicks and I'd imagine that he already had a hair line fractures coming into the fight.
The only way I could take his return seriously is if he could put aside his ego (if that's even possible for him to do) and fight his way back up the division with several lower ranked contenders....

    McGregor isn't box office anymore.
It's not worth fighting him now. He's just not that guy anymore.
McGregor can keep trash talking but we know he can't back it up. McGregor needs to come back and win a few fights in a row.
Dustin Poirier is the real deal. He continuously beat the top guys in this division. I believe Dustin will beat Charles Oliveira for the championship.
