Brother it warms my heart watching all the generosity and respect people send you!
You in return are so grateful and humble and honored!
I can't say it loud enough how much I love this channel!
Awesome!! Thank you!
Send the hawkbill knife to Norm so he could fashion a Jack Daniels oak wood slat for new scales/wood handle. Now that would be cool for you to get it back and install the new wood, pins and emblem.
Ok, buddy you killing me here. Those pens are awesome. The knives well say no more. L...the $1 knife well say no more. Great video once again my friend. Be safe as always
Thanks George!!
The Hawkbill turned out better than I expected.
Thank you!!
That hawkbill was a good find
Good Job Doc
Hey Kevin , another outstanding video . I always learn something new from your videos .I don't comment very often because I shake so bad , It's difficult for me to type for very long . I watch everyone of your videos and enjoy them very much ...... They are the highlight of my day . In the summertime when I can sit outside I try to do a lot of whittling and also sharpening my knives ,as long as I'm not shaking ,
lol . Knives have always been my favorite hobby since I was just a little boy . Keep up the great work and the awesome videos . Thanks .
Lloyd, thank you so much sir!! Thanks for watching and God Bless you sir!!
It’s been great seeing a couple of lesser known knives restored the past two videos.
Awesome job Kevin. Hope you have a blessed day!
Also, I’ve heard you mentioned that you had a channel on recycling old pallets is any of that content still available? I saw it a couple months ago on the video you did with Terry, knives, and man stuff.
Thanks, you too!
I got to say I thought you were throwing a dollar away for that knife but oh boy was I wrong, great job on the hawkbill. As always nice mail from the knife family. Great video.
I figured it would clean up nice. I think it’s a Garden Pruning knife the more I look at it. It’s made by Bower Implement Co. so I think it has something to do with Agriculture.
That Pal TL 29 is a treasure
Outstanding on the hawkbill. Very generous gifts to the channel too.
Thank you!!
Awesome bolt action pen. Very beautiful hawkbill knife
Thank you!!
All I can say:
Outstanding job, MARINE !
Semper Fi, DOC...😊
Thanks Bruce!! Semper-Fi!

Thank you M.r Kevin
I think it be really cool if you would experiment with making some custom pocket knifes with all the spare parts you got, great video keep up the great work
Thank you!!
Very nice pen.
Im impressed with how well that hawkbill cleaned up. Nice job on that.
Thank you!!
What an awesome video! I love the hawkbill knife being an electrician. Such great steel. I want that buck so bad! Thank you so
Much for the learning experience and interesting information. I bet Norm could make some awesome scales for that hawkbill. You really should wear some latex gloves to save your hands from all the oil and chemicals. Have a great day and stay sharp!
Ah what an awesome gift from Idaho and around Arizona today!!!!
I have one of those kampking knives and they seem to stay in good shape for years
Those pen cases and pens are really cool 😎 ,My type of pen!!, found this channel few days ago and been binge watching, looking forward to new videos, thx

Good morning everyone! Love the mail call videos!
Good morning!
That hawk has really done some serious work over the years....😊
Good find for sure, no telling how many old rusty knives like that the one you put back to use have been discarded thru the years all over the place.
Very true!! Thanks for watching!!
Omg,,, I gotta friend who makes custom pens. Those are right there, with the best of his best.
Those pens are so cool. Like the hawk bill came awesome
These videos are so awesome
Thank you!!
Kevin if you'd like to see more knives than you could stand, head south to the St. Augustine Flea Market. There's a man there that has or used to have cases full of old knives.
That’s awesome!! Thanks for the info!!
I have a Switch IT, great knife!
That wood handle looks real good on that Hawkbill.
Thank you!
I wanna go on the trip Kevin..... Take me! Take me...😊 I will drive down and meet you some day soon. I hope we can check out a flea market or pawn shops.

Don’t forget the Gun Show this weekend at the Atlanta EXPO.
I’m going to Dothan Alabama this weekend! Thanks for the reminder though. Maybe another time!!
Great video as always! Love the content! Howdy from DFW
DFW?? Thank you!!
@@theknifedoctor DFW is Dallas/Fort Worth. I’m in Fort Worth.
@@John330vids that’s Awesome!!
I used to live in Weiser. We pronounced it wheezer 😊
LOL!! I knew I was botching the name up!!🤦♂️
I've got a book called the comple book of U.S military pocket knives from 1800 to today. that pal co military knife was in that book with the same tang stamp and everything the picture looked identical and it even had TL-29 ingraved on the scales. I thought it was cool , if your knife is in a special book it's bound to be worth some money.
Awesome!!
Cool video many thumbs up. Stay well and safe out there on the road. ****God Bless America****
Thanks, you too!
I knew you were gonna keep the green pen case.... lol
When I have broken wood or bone handles I use j b weld to make the repairs and they turn out really good rt
Thanks for sharing this!!
You need to start doing a “Swami” like Johnny Carson used to do, put the wrapped knife to your forehead and see if you can guess what brand it is. 😂👍🇨🇦
LOL
You really did a nice job on that hawk bill, hope you enjoy your pen!
Awesome!! Thanks again Very Much!! Do you sell these pens anywhere?
@@theknifedoctor no, I just make them as gifts for friends and family
Those pens are gorgeous Norm, you are very talented! Dave from Ontario Canada.
@@oxyfee6486 Thank You!
I own an electrcians knife from my father in law he was a sea bee ww2
That’s Awesome!! What make is it?
Great job Doc , got a question. You know those ultrasonic cleaners they use for jewelry, do you think they might work for cleaning the inside of pocket knives?
I don’t know…never really thought about it.
Sounds like a good idea though.
When is the auction
Don’t know yet! I’ll announce it soon.
Hi I saw one of your videos working on a 1970 is case knife I’m looking for that exact handle is there anyway you could part with itV
No. I’m sorry. I was born in 1970 so it’s kinda sentimental. Thanks though and thanks for watching!!
@@theknifedoctor hey no problem!! I love your content
Fix the handle!
No…I think I’m going to leave it like it is. It’s not loose or anything. I might damage it worse just trying to remove it. It still has the original pins too. I’d have to grind those down. Sometimes you just have to let an OLD knife be an OLD Knife. Thanks for watching!! It’s an old German made knife too!! Nice Save!
