Any bayonets or prov usa knives are a must! I couldn't believe you got a German stag knife for $10 in a previous video- crazy!
As a knife collector in England i have to say that the quality of our old Sheffield made knives is far superior to the USA made knives in your videos. A trip to England would not disappoint !!
I agree 100% with that with certain knife brands but when it comes to Case and Cattaraugus and all the older cutlery companies your Sheffield can’t hold a light to them. But I will say that that would be 1975 and earlier for most. Try Northfield and GEC brands. Great American made knives.
Sheffield made the best cutlery, steel and pocket knifes long before Europeans ever even set foot on the shores of your country to colonise it! Am not knocking your stuff but it's not in the same league I use a 1870s Christopher Johnson pen knife every day testament to Sheffield steel it's made from.
I bought an old Sheffield skinner without a handle in a junk store. Handled it with Honey Locust. Tap it and it rang like a silver bell. Flea markets and pawn shops around here sell crappy convenience store knives.
🤡
@@bradleygarrett2241 absolute hogwash ... I collect knives, lugers, war medals etc and while I agree some American knives are well made and sought after NONE can compete with old Sheffield made knives from England & Germany
I love seeing these long videos drop. I know its time to grab a cup of coffee and a snack or two. We're about to see some knife hunting pro footage. You never disappoint us Doc. It's always a interesting time and a thrill of the hunt.... Thanks again Brother! 😊
Thank you!!
My grandmother used to take me there when I was a kid..we lived in Andalusia..I miss those days with my grouchy ass granny 😢..truly some great times
LOL! Awesome!
Hi from Finland, I have so many j. Marttiini knifes also known as puuko. They are the best
Awesome!!
Kevin, I almost fell out of my chair when I saw that Buck 639! I carried one on my webgear (LBE) back when I was in the Army in the 80's and 90's. It was a great knife and I've been trying to find one. My original one was broken after 20 years of hard service. Great video and those are some sweet knives you got there!!
It was a good knife. He wanted a $100 for it. Thanks for watching and thanks for sharing this!
@@theknifedr-edc It was the best Buck knife I've ever had. Ouch! $100, yep that's been the biggest problem I've had with getting another one. Every one wants over $100 for it. LOL just my luck 😂
Real Nice Rolling Cabinet Perfect for all your lose Parts👍✌🏻🤙🙏🏼🇨🇦😊
Good morning, let’s go flea marketing!!!
Reate produces great knives for many US designers. Wish they could get them manufactured here.
What an adventure..!! I truly enjoy your flea market and pawnshop shopping videos.
Thank you!!
CHINA MADE! love it
Always love going to the flea market,Thanks for bringing us along!
Awesome!! Thank you!!
Dang knife doc! That buck 639 was sweet! Always great finds bud
Something about old knifes always look good to me
Me too!
I would have lost my shirt with the $10 guy. He had a great selection.
Great finds😂 thanks for taking us along with you❗ your wife has a good eye too. bird dogging💯🏆❤️🔪
She does!! Thanks for watching!!
Surprised 😯 I didn’t see any old timers on here I had one as a kid miss it 😪 lost it almost 30 years ago got it from a older gentleman at his garage sale truly a great knife!!!! ❤❤❤❤
Looks like a few new additions were found on this trip stay sharp Kevin
Thank you!!
We had some good weather in Ohio a couple weeks ago and I ended up going to the flea market. I was shocked that at 11AM and even 12 some dealers were just starting to set up outside. Really shocked me as they normally are all closing down around 1PM during the summer. At some flea markets during the winter I guess they wait until it warms up before setting up.
That's a late opening Fleemarket that's for sure .
Flea markets look like they would be a good time.
It really is!! Thanks for watching!
Kevin the backstory on Coast Cutlery is interesting. The company was started in 1919 and currently employs 50 people in Portland and another 75 or so selling to wholesalers. I am fortunate to have grown up in Portland and we have a good group of knife companies along with a bunch of custom knife makers. Really enjoy your videos.
Thanks for sharing this!!
Lol. My friend, right out the gate...the Bird dog. I started laughing. Another great video. 👍 as always. 😊
LOL!! She has a good eye on what I like! Thanks George!!
@@theknifedr-edc Always a plus having a partner that's knows the stuff. Be well my friend.

Settled in with a cup of coffee and watched the whole thing
Good Job Doc
Thank you!! Thanks for watching!

Good Morning ! Thank You For Sharing Your Knife Hunt
Good morning!!
Oh I like me some vintage specialty folding knives. Good show.
Thank you!
You were only about an hour and half away from where I live. Great video.
Thank you!!
Welcome
A lot of those people are in love with their stuff. Prices are nuts.
fun to see
That Saber will look good with some Zebra wood scales.
Just what the Doctor ordered, have a great day everyone, be blessed!👍🇨🇦
Thank you!!
Thank You Doc. For letting me come along.I can get out much any more, and I use to love going to Pawn Shops and Flea Markets. I think you got some very good deals on your purchases. I love you channel and look forward to every video.
Awesome!! Thanks for watching!!
You’re in my stomping grounds now! I’ve just recently subscribed to your channel and gotten the things I need to work on knives. I was planning on hitting Sadie’s soon. Thanks for taking us along and keep up the good work.
Awesome!! I had fun there!
I began my day with the first half of the video. I had Church and band practice….just sat down to relax and finished the last half great video. I really enjoyed the journey. This was a fun watch.😊 Thank you Kevin.
Awesome!! Thank you!!
Lake county love your Camara work. Me I know it is difficult to keep your focus on one mark. Chin up .
20 years ago i found an old small picklock Italian Stiletto made by Venecia.....real black horn handle, had a few cracks in it, and a broken leaf spring....i bought it, and used a spring from an old broken switchblade Comb to fix it...fires hard, people drop it😅
That’s awesome. Thanks for sharing.
Yeah boy, this is a good one. Flea markets, pawn shops, thrift stores, antique stores, and pocket knives. It doesn't get any better than that. I like those marrttiini knives and fish knives too. Love the knife book hunts and old tool hunts too. And yes I love the sounds of the country, I live in eastern KY and I love it here. Great video Kevin.
Thank you!!
I dont know if this is the 1st time you have been to Sadie's, but as someone that grew up in that area, it is dead now compared to what it was 10-20 years ago.
The chickens even get up late out there! 🤣😂🤣😂
Nice Video. Brings back memories. My first job was working for my grandfather's pawnshop in Charlotte NC in 1978 stocking the knife counter. Have a super day Bud!
Thank you!!
I always wanted to sell or shop at Sadies back in the '90's when I was selling at Gulf Breeze. Doesn't look very interesting these days.
I agree that is a farmers pocket harvesting knife. Love it
Thank you!!
I passed there about 6 weeks ago at the same time of day. Almost deserted.
I live in Dothan, which is not far from this flea market.
I will have to go and give it a go on finding some knives.
My grandfather was a huge knife collector, and I want to follow that tradition. I wouldn’t mind contacting you and sharing what my grandfather left me to get your thoughts.
That was Fun - Thanks 👍
Kevin if you would have got that buck 112
For $25 you could send it off to buck and for $10 they will replace the blade and buff it to look like new
Thanks for taking us along on your knife hunt 😊🇺🇸
You are living the dream brother.
Awesome knife hunting that Swiss army knife is cool and that drawer thing will be great for knife parts thanks for sharing I always look forward to your videos
Thank you!!
Nice video I wanna go knife shopping now.
LOL!! It’s Addicting!!
@@theknifedr-edcI already have way too many.😅
Thats my favorite activity browsing pawnbrokers for knives, Found an old buck knife once encrusted in dirt and was unable to open it, got it back to a new one.I never tell them the brand names, and just pretend I am buying them for fun.
Awesome!! Thanks for sharing this!!
I’m with you I have never seen a $500 pocket knife that I was interested in.😵💫😳
Hey next time you're there see what kind deAl get me on rebel knuckles and rebel above it. I got good bit of them kind . Got that same two set to straight and folder auto. Box tin .
Ever been to T&W? I've heard " do you have any knives or Zippo's" many times.
That sheath will go Good with that folding hunter knife 😊
Love your content brother ❤
I appreciate that!
Would anyone here have some good information on Imperial Knives? I think I found a somewhat unusual one. It looks like the usual black camp knife style with a gouge, spearpoint blade, and screwdriver/cap-lifter. However the fourth tool isn't your usual can opener, but rather a glass cutter.
Man that green handle buck knife in the soft sheath was an amazing find they bring pretty good but great video
Hard to find stuff that’s usable condition that’s made in USA! We use to make everything you need! Not anymore! We really need to steep it up as a country! I’m glad we are using old stuff and keeping Americana alive!
He say $100 for the Remington? He has it just thrown in the bin.... 😆
I collect knives...I've got well over a hundred knives. Bottle openers with beer brands is another thing I collect. I need Coors , and a few more there's. If you would be interested in coming off a few .
Awesome cool video thumbs up.
Thank you!!
Great video Kevin, beautiful knives and great hunting 👌👍🙂🔪
Thank you!!
@@theknifedr-edc 👍
Hope you having a good weekend!
I am!! Thanks and thank you for watching!!
I enjoy these trips. I was just at one of our indoor flea markets. One cabinet was filled with those pakistan damascus knifes asking double online price. Someone just posted a stress test on one of them, the results are predictably hilarious
LOL. Thanks for sharing this!!
Morning back to ya.
Always looking for Italian Stilettos or Rizzuto Estiletto Milano swinguards...
Back on one of the tables a red handle stright blade could have been a case
Loved your video, really like them ole knifes, cold damp day here in Winter Haven Florida.
Thank you and thanks for watching!
Good luck on the hunt
Great finds today Doc, a little pricy but none the less nice.
Interesting day,I collect myself😊❤
Awesome!!
Just recently caught a coworker, trying to take my old , Boker out of my lunch cooler. He got fired after he got hurt. It was my grandfather's old knife!!
WOW
I collect them Great Easterns that you saw thats really high, I won’t pay that much either but I sure will sell them for that. Great video, we got a flea market that starts before daylight and another that starts @ 9.
Been doing myself lately. Found a Fury branded made in Japan tactical folder from the 1990s. Paid $10 and found out it’s worth $100.
Awesomeness!!
That Craftsman screw driver has my name on it Doc. Phillips 😊
LOL
I can never pass up a hobo knife! That guy would've got all my money. Great cases
He did have a great selection of knives!!
🙂 ci sono tante belle cose che fai vedere 👍
Gracias
What flea Markey was that? Love the videos, always good stuff.
Over 3,000 views and only 300 plus likes. Come on people, get it together! 😂
10 dollars for a 05 insert is crazy.
I think the last blade was for grafting trees.
How many times can u say I ain't never seen flea market like this,...
LOL!!
I had found you a bunch of knives that you would love working on but my goodness my flea market they wanted 60 for broken knives and just slowly walk away I understand some people want to make money but they forget that it’s a flea market sometimes
That one $450 knife is a Great Eastern Cutlery. Those are big money and being made today. That one knife you showed was from several years ago. Drops for those last seconds at their dealers. The prices were firm on those because if they put them online, they'd be gone pretty much as soon as someone from one of the collector group pages/forums found out!
God bless bird dog
Hey if you like old bush craft books look out for Survival With Style, Bradford Angier was my “bible “ for outdoor in the Pacific Northwest mountains when i was a kid I still have it .
Awesome!! Thanks for sharing this!!
That one guy had a good selection, but his prices were too high. Good find on the Scout knife by Bear and sons.
I go to flea markets to buy watches. It makes me nuts when someone is asking retail prices and won't haggle. They get offended like I'm crazy for making an offer. I keep thinking I should look for knives too but I don't know enough to not get myself in trouble Maybe a few more of your videos and I'll be up to speed.
I like watches too! Happy Hunting!
❤
Ha ha couldn’t resist the old Queen👈!
I know!! Thanks for watching!!
I like tourquoise inlaid knives but it’s really hard to find a USA blade in them! Usually POW Wow’s Indian craft shows have great stuff!
If it was a switchblade I would take it!
What was wrong with those bowies, by the swastica? The boot knife with the silver pommel looked like a old Eastwing, Or is that a filet knife? Liking the channel thanks for sharing your hunts. What he want for the old Gulf sign?
Thank you!!
You got to go to outside flee markets!
That Remington has to be a custom made knife keep an eye out for a letter from me in your inbox, just found your channel and I think I have somethings you might be interested in.
Awesome!! Welcome Aboard! Thank you!!
Hey please get back with me on this .. I would like to buy a couple of the church key bottle openers . I'll pay Shipping also .
