Thanks so much for referring me to this follow up video. I think I just need to use a screwdriver to loosen up the screws so they'll be lifted up more to thread the metallic pins thru easier, and then I can just screw it back down tight. That's really the only thing that was giving me problems, I was just concerned about whether or not the screws could even be moved. Now that I know they can I'll try it when I get home! Thanks!

Thank you! I need new cross burners! I just didn’t know what they were called! That’s all I need along a good cleaning! Grill is only about 2 years old!

@@learnsavediy Yes I knew I could get parts. Just didn’t know exactly how to find the parts for grill I had! Wasn’t a easy walk into store and pickup

Thank you for showing this, but help me understand how a flat piece of metal conducts propane (or helps it travel) over to the other burners. Are these cross burners supposed to also catch on fire to serve as a bridge for the propane?

You’ve got it. It’s just a tunnel to help the fire travel from one burner to the adjacent ones. The burners are too far apart to light each other so the bars act as controlled passage of fire to the other burners.

Thank you! For my grill, from left to right, #s 1, 2, and 4 light up fine with #2 being the igniter. #3 however does not light even with a match. I don’t even hear gas coming through when I turn the knob. Any ideas?

Might want to try cleaning out the end where the burner meets. Sometimes spiders build webs/nests or debris gets in there an covers the hole that enters the burner. Try cleaning it with a tooth pick

These cross members do not come with the grill upon purchase. How would one know to do this? Only half of my main burner is lighting; not the entire burner. Ideas and advice? Char Broil not a help after sending me parts that didnt solve the issue
